Shocked filled faces followed Anya's movements until she realized no one was following her. Stopping, she turned around and was met with all four men looking at her as if she suddenly grew another head. Rolling her eyes, she stood facing them with her hand on her hips. "What? I may be a rogue but even I was once raised in a pack and have manners. Besides it seems there's going to be a nasty storm brewing and I would like to not get drenched in rain."

As if on que the fight drops of rain started to fall in a light drizzle that hand chills rippling through her body. Raising and eyebrow she cocked her head towards the house and turned around to walk inside before the rain picked up more.

The tension in the air was thick as all the males sat around Anya's and Nixon's makeshift table as Anya busied herself with the task of preparing Tea. Tension that was slowly being replaced with a strong layer of awkwardness. From the corner of her eye from her place at the stove she could see Nixon sizing up each one of the unknown men. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at his actions. Even she knew he couldn't possibly take on those men who had a strong sense of power radiating off of them, power that had Anya's wolf surging forward to challenge the alpha that was on what she claimed as her territory.

The sky had darkened even further outside as the rain picked up more until it was beating ferociously against the roof and windows. Flashes of lightening danced across the sky and the first powerful sound of thunder made it's presence known. "Well shit, Blaine of all days you had to pick the day when the weather is complete crap." Darius's voice seemed to lifted the heavy layer of silence and before Anya knew it the men started to engage in a not so friendly conversation as she poured the tea into separate glasses. "Who exactly are you people and what's your business with Anya?"

A low growl could be heard coming from Blaine, the alpha within him demanding respect from Nixon. Anya had to force her wolf down so she wouldn't bare her teeth at him for trying to push his authority on Nixon.

"Anya is...an acquaintance of mine. One of which I have unfinished business with.my affairs with her have no concern to you" By now Anya was sure her eyes had changed from their natural brown color to grey. Her wolf was not happy with the way Blaine was addressing her pack-mate and brother. "That's where you're wrong. Anything that concerns Anya concerns me. The only reason I haven't sunk my claws in you is because Anya doesn't feel threaten by you. Believe me if she gives me the okay I will." "Would you really attack our Alpha in front of us? You're quite outnumbered at the moment so I don't think it would be a wise decision..."

Anya couldn't help but tilt her head to the side as she accessed Soren from behind Blaine with a tray a glasses. She was slightly impressed at his willingness to protect his Alpha.

A deep growl started to form in Nixon's chest that had Anya emit a low growl of her own as she shot a harden glare towards Nixon. As soon as his eyes met her now grey ones a low whimper came from him as he sat back in his chair. "Alpha Rose, I would appreciate it if you don't come onto my property and antagonize my friend. And Nixon I would also appreciate it if you don't threaten my...guests...no matter how much they irritate me." She set a cup of tea in front of Blaine from behind, which cause her to lean over him slightly, as she held his green eyes in a stare down for dominance.

When neither one of them seemed to give into the other anytime soon, she felt her wolf retreat back into her cage that was of Anya's subconscious. Slowly she stood straight and made her round to each male and gave them a glass of tea before nudging Nixon with her hip to scoot over on his chair so she could sit. The action was not left unnoticed by Blaine.

"Would someone please explain who these people are? Obviously you know them, Anya, but from where?" "As much as I would love to tell you it seems I'm unable to after all. Every time I want to tell you it's like the words are taken from my mouth and my mouth locks up." She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at Blaine which earned her a wide grin in response. "I told you, you wouldn't be able to utter a word about that day after what I did. Didn't I?"

"So I take it you plan on telling Nixon here? After all he is my most trusted companion and it irritates me when I can't ease his mind when I go missing for a full day. And while you're at it you can tell me why exactly you're here and why you masked your scent again. You're lucky I didn't kill you."

Anya watched as Blaine debated with himself on sharing the information with her friend. She could almost see the internal struggle he was having reflect in his eyes before they finally settle on one specific thing. "I'm Alpha Blaine Rose. Alpha of...Crimson Moon Pack. I caught Anya following Darius, Soren, Jack, and I on our way back from the Alpha Submit. She was on my territory so I took her back to my pack and held her over night as punishment for trespassing. Upon releasing her I hindered her ability to mention anything she encountered from that night and the day I sent her on her way..." Anya narrowed her eyes at Blaine. Sure it wasn't really a complete lie, but it still didn't sit well with her.

"Why'd you prevent her from telling anyone where she was at? I for one was worried sick about her! And you, Anya, need to stop trespassing on other Alpha's territories and stop spying at the Submits!" Once again Anya was receiving one of Nixon's famous lectures as he flicked her forehead as a form of reprimanding.

Blaine narrowed his eyes at the male that kept touching what was his. He almost wanted to rip his throat out, but he refrained himself from doing so. "It seems I failed to mention that the woman you keep touching is my mate." Blaine couldn't help the satisfied smirk that formed on his lips at Nixon's shocked expression. Anya on the other hand couldn't help but growl. "He is not my mate" she hissed.

Silence took over the small group again until the pouring rain and thunder was all that could be heard. Nixon had dropped his hands to his side and remained as stiff as a board. Once more Anya felt her temper flared. She just couldn't help herself whenever she was around Blaine. He always seemed to bring out her bad side. "As for your other questions..." Blaine said as he leaned back on the chair and shoved his hands in his pockets, causing Anya's eye to twitch

If he breaks my chair, I'll kill him she thought to herself.

"Darrius wasn't lying on the part when he said I wanted to see you again. As for the part on us masking our scent it was more of a safety precaution. Yes, I know it's different from the one you probably picked up on in the forest and the one in my pack, but again, it's a safety precaution." "Secretive as always aren't you, Blaine."

She rolled her eyes when he flashed her a grin and winked at her. He had another thing coming if he thought she could be easily swooned by his not-so-charming gestures. Anya snuck a peak at Nixon to find he was looking at the group of men with confusion still written across his face. She couldn't blame him for it. After all Anya never associated with other pack wolves, especially not Alphas. Why would she when all the Alphas wanted her captured and dealt with for all the trouble she had been causing with them for several years.

It wasn't like she trusted Blaine or what seemed to be his most trusted companions, her interested for the man that was still leaning back in her flimsy wooden chair had reached a new level. She wanted to get to the bottom of why he claimed her as his mate when she felt no other indication aside from the faint sparks she received that she was his. And what about how he was able to change the way his pack mates scent frequently? Or even why did he kept his pack hidden? So maybe she lied to herself that she wasn't interested in his little secret after all... It seemed they had unfinished business still.
