School Days

Oh look. A chapter! :0 This is nine I think. Ehh.

Lets jump in shall we?

(Name) sat, brushing her hair. You were a little nervous, as it was time to start school agian. It was early in the morning. The sun was just peaking over the horizon, casting blue, orange, and pink hues through the clouds. The crisp early morning air blew through your open window, making your (color) curtains ruffle with the wind.

"Daniel! Are you ready?"

Ah yes. Today is the day. Daniel would be joining you on the way to school. Its was his first day starting there. This was you reason for being a little nervous.

'What would they think of him? Oh, I hope he doesn't get picked on a lot....'

These were the thoughts racing through your mind right about now, as you drew your hair into a high ponytail. You wrapped the ribbon representing your school's around the elastic band holding your hair, as you looked at yourself in your mirror. You wore tan blazer with cream buttons and red bowtie. The skirt your wore was also tan, and you wore cream stockings with Mary Janes to top it off.

"Yes! I'm ready!" Was Daniel's reply. He was apparently coming down the hall and poked his head into your room. He wore the same thing as you. Except he work a regular red boys' tie and cream slacks. He also wore black dress shoes and had his name embroidered into his blazer. Where he got it embroidered, you didn't know, but he looked handsome either way.

You blushed a bit at that. Did you seriously just think that? You shook your head to clear your thoughts, a rosy blush still on your face as you said.

"L-let's go then!"

Your phone vibrated in your pocket just as you were about to fall asleep, your head jolting up as you suddenly became alert of your surroundings. This was your second period of the day, World History. You were really out if it today, for some reason.

Another vibration.

'Fine, fine.' You thought, glancing up at the teacher before taking your phone out and seeing who texted you. It was actually from Roland, who was sending a note to your DeviantArt.

'Where are you?' -StayFrosty

You snickered at his nickname before glancing back up at the teacher. They were listing off homework. So much for having Monday as a good day.

Then agian Mondays are the worst day of the week.

You shook your head before stuffing your phone back in your pocket. You looked out the window, not really interested in what the teacher was saying at the moment. The sky was blue, hardly any clouds were in sight at the moment.

'Beautiful day.' You thought looking around the school campus. The huge willow tree in the center of the plains was what made everything look serene. It stood alot a little hill, benches were placed skillfully under it, where srudent would often sit and read or study. Sometimes students would just and watch other students walk around and talk to thier friends. Its often what you did, seeing as the only after school activity you had was on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Though your Monday activity was canceled, so you could just go home.

"Ms. (Last Name)! Are you listening?!" Teacher asked, looking at you from where they stood in the front of the class.

"Yes, ma'am/sir!" You said, a little startled. You didn't know they were watching you, or even knew your name for that matter. They never called on you when you raised your hand.

They sighed before resuming what ever they were doing.

Soon, the bell rang and you gathered your stuff. You stood from your seat, bid your teacher farewell, and went on to you next class.

On you way though, you saw something you probably shouldn't have.

Daniel was pressed up against some lockers, and the bully you had in your junior year was rolling off insults at Daniel.

Daniel looked scared and was trying to get away but the bully pushed him back, making Daniel hit his head on the locker.

"Why do you look so scared?! What a crybaby!"

"Please. Just leave me alone." Daniel said, looking down.

It broke your heart, watching Daniel get bullied like that while everyone laughed and took pictures. Soon, that sadness turned into anger and you stompped over, a scowl present on your face.

"What's going on here?!" You said, demanding answers. "It seems we have a bully on our hands." You said through your teeth.

You were notorious for standing up to bullies. You helpped anyone out if they were in trouble or just needed someone to talk to. You were deemed the school super hero last year for catching the librarian when she tripped over some bread on the lunchroom floor. You had also lead the 'Say STOP to bullying' campaign last year.

The bully visibly paled, looking over at you. And aura of pure hatred seeped off of your being as you looked down on them.

"I-I was just....f-fixing his tie! Yeah!" The bully said, straightening Daniel's tie before stwpping away.

"I-I'll be going now." They sqeaked before running off down the hall.

You glanced at the remaining group of students, raising your eyebrows and saying.

"Well?!"

They all quickly dispersed, heads hung low. You turned back to Daniel, giving a sympathetic smile.

"You alright?"

He seemed to be going through shock at what just happened, and was looking at the ground, wide eyed. He looked up at you and tears started to cascade down his face.

"I was...really scared."

You quickly gathered him in your arms, sitting on the floor as he went on about how glad he was that you had showed up and how he though he was going to get beat up.

"It's fine Daniel. I'm just doing what a hero does." You said, making a joke as you rubbed his back in circles.

You opened the door to you house and stepped into the foyer, immediately finding it a mess.

"Dang it! Roland! Carlos!"

Two laughes could be heard feom the living room.
