I huffed and walked out the shower. There was really no point bickering with Harry. I hadn't known him for long but I knew that once he had his mind stuck to an idea, he didn't change it.
'Harry?' I called, walking down his pristine stair case in a pair of his boxers and top.
'Yes, Angel?'
'I'll do as you want if I go back to the dorms instead of Rosetta and Tommy coming here. I have work to catch up on and I haven't even unpacked everything yet.'
Harry hesitated but finally muttered a 'fine.'
I gave him a peck on the check and even though I wanted more, I controlled my needs.
The car ride back to my dorm was spent with Harry being silent. His eyes wandered off the road at various occasions and landed on me, licking his lips like I was gonna be his next meal. Literally.
Don't get me wrong, I wasn't scared but more worried. He hadn't fed because of me and he must've been very anxious and hungry. Plus he had said my soul was so pure, no demon could resist it but then, how come he had? There were so many unanswered questions.
'We're here.' Harry said, breaking my thoughts.
I looked out of the window and it suddenly hit me how stunning the uni actually was. I scanned it over with a smile on my face but that dropped when I saw Rosetta and Tommy waiting for me outside in the freezing cold.
'You told them to wait outside for me?!' I asked Harry when really, I already knew the answer.
'Yes. If I got out I could've been distracted by another soul and because I'm so hungry, I wouldn't be able to control myself. Someone had to take you to your dorm so they were my only option.'
I was fuming.
'For gods sake Harry! For the 100th time, I am not a child, I do not need someone to walk me to my own dorm. Ugh, you know what? I don't even have time for this.'
I walked out of the car with my head held high and smiled reassuringly at my friends.
'We're so happy to see you!' Cheered Rosetta.
'Yeah, it feels like you were gone for ages with that...Harry guy.' Said Tommy, trying to hide his disapproval with a hug.
'Aw guys!' I laughed 'I've missed you too!'
And I meant it.
In the distance, I could hear Harry's engine roar into life as he drove off. Suddenly, I got an idea.
'Hey, do you lot wanna go get some lunch? I'm starving and I know the perfect place.'
'Sure, we can go in my car?' Tommy asked.
'Sounds like a plan.' Rosetta added.
I smiled and thought : I wasn't gonna let Harry control me that easily.
---
We drove into convent gardens and parked up near a cute, roof top cafe. It's where me, my mum and dad went before things got bad. Anyways, that wasn't the point. It done the best chocolate cakes and that's what truly mattered.
'I can't believe I've never heard of this place before!' Gasped Rosetta when we sat down at our table 'what's it called again?'
'The rose top cafe.'
'That explains the crazy amount of roses' chuckled Tommy.
I laughed along with him, even though it wasn't very funny but I wanted to savor the moment. Here I was, having a normal lunch, with my normal friends like a normal university student.
