"Are we there yet?"

Rija glared at a cheeky Danielle through the rear-view mirror. "We'll get there when we get there!"

"How 'bout now? Now? Are we here?"

"Rija! Raccoon!" Ryan flailed for the passenger grab handle and gripped it like a lifeline. He dreaded the impact as the body came closer.

"Chill, bruh. I got this. I got this." Rija swerved smoothly around the dead raccoon in the middle of the road.

Danielle laughed, "You are so paranoid, Ryan."

"Well, she was gona hit it!"

"I was not!"

"You were to! And now my hands are sweaty, I hope you're happy," Ryan slowly released his grip and settled back down, wiping his palms on his rugged jeans.

"Wait, what's happening?" Trevvy surfaced groggily from her sleep, "Are we here?"

"Nope," Danielle said.

"Oh." Adjusting her seating, Trevvy fell quickly back to sleep.

Yawning, Danielle settled on Allana's shoulder–or at least tried to. "God damn it, Allana, you're too short."

"I'm sorry," Allana shrugged her off violently. "Go find your own pillow!"

"But," Danielle pouted.

"Hmph," Allana put on her headset and looked out the window next to her in a dramatic fashion.

Danielle kept her stare on her, until she snorted with laughter and nudged her friend affectionately.

The seating in the van had changed after Rija took over the driver's seat. In the middle seats, Danielle was between Cat and Allana. Al, Myles and Trevvy took over the back seat, all soundly sleeping. Myles had his head on Al's shoulder, who's head was lolling backwards. Trevvy was huddled in the corner with headphones on, her eyes closed and her breathing heavy.

Danielle didn't understand how anybody could be tired. She knew it was only her energy and excitement keeping her awake. So she talked to Ryan and Rija, who was keeping her eyes steadily on the road.

"About an hour," Rija was saying.

"'Till the park or the hotel?"

"What time did we reserve the rooms?"

Danielle reached for her phone and checked her email. "It says...3PM."

"Yeah, we'll go to the hotel first. It's 1:37PM right now, so we'll probably be there around 3. Drop our bags off, then look for dinner."

"Actually. I have a brilliant idea for dinner," Danielle grinned and scrolled through more of her emails until she saw the one she wanted. "So, I saw this on the website. They have a restaurant around the area, but it's kind of connected to whoever runs the park. So the thing is, you order outside, right? And then, you walk in, but the restaurant is absolutely dark. Like you can't see where the hell you're going, and you can't even see what you're eating."

"Um...what if they give us poison?" Ryan cut in.

"Well, obviously, it'd be a law suit. You'd know all about that, no?"

He preened. "Yup. In Clause–"

"Shush," Danielle interrupted, holding up a hand.

"How do you know where your mouth will be? And like, what if someone just straight up murders you? What if—" Rija was cut off by another shush from Danielle.
