//Casper's POV\\

I slumped in my seat. I did not want to be here. It was the last class of the day, but none of my friends were in this class, which sucked.

"Tomorrow, class, I'll not be here. I have to go see my son....." I zoned out from the pointless rant my teacher was giving. She was suddenly interrupted by someone bursting through the door.

"Mr.Hemmings, you are late" the teacher sneered.

Great, Luke is here.

I rolled my eyes. He has missed a few days because of a "family crisis" but nobody believed that. It was pretty hard to. Luke has always been causing trouble since grade seven. I guess you could call him and his friends, the bad boys. Every girl falls for them. It's pretty hard not to, they're all really freaking hot.

"There's an open seat beside Casper." The teacher points to me.

Oh great.

He smirked and made his way over to me.

"Heard you ran into Cal today." He laughed.

"Oh shut up" I snap.

He raises his hands in defense and mumbles an "okay"

And just like that, he was quiet for the rest of the class. I kinda feel bad. Whoops.

•after school•

"Aria, chill." I say. She was close to fussing out someone, well Aubrey, for spelling her drink on Aria. Aria was ticked. Aubrey chose the wrong friend to mess with.

We had just gotten to my house, but little did we know that my sister and her friends were hiding and waiting to prank us.

"Don't tell me to chill!!! She just ruined my clothes, my make up, everything! Ugh!" Aria almost screamed.

"Aria, I'll tell my mum if it makes you happy." I say, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah, you can borrow her gym clothes."Harper says with a smile.

"And you know how I always have make up remover, for life's crazy mishaps." Charlotte says with a giggle.

"Thank you, guys." Aria says with a smile.

One of aubrey's friends, Chloe comes from upstairs. She was probably ease dropping."Casper, from my understanding, your mum isn't going to do anything about your sister. She's barely home. How do you except her to help if she isn't even home?" She chuckled.

"I um have to go." I say.

"Cass, this is your house." Charlotte says. Harper gives her a look.

" Ohhh"

I pursed my lips, then left. I just needed to leave.

I decided to go to the park, it was the only place I could think of. Plus I know this spot in the trees, where I always go to think.

As I arrived to the park, I walked towards to the woods. Not very deep in the woods, there was this huge tree. Two swings were attached to a huge branch. It was pretty cool. I loved it here.

I sat down in one of the swings, then I heard something.

Okay, some one.

"Hello?" I called. I felt like one of those stupid girls in those horror movies.

"Hi." A voice said from behind me. I turned around quickly to see the one and only, Luke Hemmings.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Just thinkin'" he replied.

"Oh, um cool." I said. I didn't feel like it was my place to ask what he was thinking about.

"Wanna think together?"

"Uh, sure." I say with a smile.

"What do you do to get a girl to like you back?" He asked suddenly.

"It depends who it is. All girls have different interests, or types. Whatever you wanna call it." I explain.

"Well you should know her, she's really cool, and very, very pretty." He says. "The problem is, that she's wayyyy out of my league." He chuckles.

"Luke, you're one of the most popular boys at school. It seems like everyone is out of your league." I say with a smile.

"You think so?"

"I know so." I say reassuringly. "So, who is this girl?"

He looks down. "Well um she's very pretty, athletic..."

Then it hit me.

What if he's talking about me? Nah, defiantly not. Well I'm pretty athletic, I play foot ball (soccer), I used to do dance, and some other sports.

"She's funny, smart, and well popular." He says.

Yeah, not me. I'm anything but popular.

"Chloe?"

"Nope"

"Abby?"

"Nah."

"Ella?"

"No."

I gasped. "Aubrey."

"Took you long enough." He laughs. I show a fake smile. Well a girl can dream.

"I'll talk to her for you." I say.

"Thanks, I better get going. See ya around?" He says.

"Um yeah, sure" I say, remembering what happened this morning with Calum.

"Bye, Casper."
