Rukia's POV:
I woke up early for some reason. I couldn't get any sleep at all. Thoughts filled my head and wouldn't let me sleep. I was happy for Orihime that she had a great day with Ichigo. Only he looked like he was enjoying it as well. What will happen if this whole plan causes for Ichigo to like Orihime? Could this actually happen? If it does then what will I do? I walked out the closet quietly so I wouldn't wake Ichigo. I looked at the clock on his table and it read 6:00 am.
As I walked quietly down the stairs I noticed all the lights where still off and every one was still asleep. It was too early for any one to be awake. I didn't want to make any noise and wake them so I decided to walk around outside. As I opened the door I felt the cool morning breeze.
As I was walking to the park I noticed how the sun was barely coming up. I sat down on the park bench and thought.
If Ichigo begins to like Orihime I won't be able to stay here in the world of the living. I can't stay here and interfere in their love. If Ichigo chooses her over me I wouldn't blame him. Orihime is beautiful and has plenty to offer since she is living. I am just a soul, what could I offer him? He deserves the best. Suddenly I froze in place as I felt a strong reiatsu near followed by a loud roar. I quickly changed into my soul reaper form and followed my phone to the hollows location.
As I shunpoed to the location I hoped that Ichigo was there. My powers yet returned, so all I had was my kido. If he isn't there I will have to fight using my kido. Another loud roar could be heard as the hollow appeared in front of me.
"Hado 31 Shakkaho," I exclaimed as a red orb shot towards the hollow. It quickly dodged it as it came even closer. I again used one of my kido spells hoping it wouldn't miss this time. The hollow threw one of its explosives at me blocking my attack.
This one is a shrieker. I have to watch out for the explosives it throws. I quickly flashed step and attacked again. The hollow roared in pain as my spell hit its arm. Suddenly out of no where, numerous frogs began to appear. As I tried to focus on attacking the hollow one of the frogs exploded making my arm bleed. I kneeled in pain grasping my arm. As I tried to get up another frog exploded causing my vision to get blurry. As I looked up to see the hollow I noticed it was gone and so were all the explosive frogs. I saw a flash of fiery red before I closed my eyes and fell into the darkness.
I felt my self think yet I couldn't wake up. I heard faint noises but everything around me was dark. What happened? Why can't I open my eyes?
"Rukia wake up," I heard some one yell. As much as I tried to wake up all I saw was pitch black. Suddenly a beam of light appeared out of no where. A blurry image of some one in front of me began to form. I then noticed it was Renji and Kisuke. As I tried to get up my body failed me as I fell back down.
