Third person POV:
Ichigo sat there as Rukia began to walk away. He wondered to himself if he had did something wrong.
I will not let her leave me again. She has to answer my questions. She has to give me answers, Ichigo though as he got up quickly. He threw the umbrella and grabbed a hold of Rukia's hand and felt how cold and wet it was. Rukia felt as his warm hand grabbed hers and turned around to come face to face with Ichigo. They were both standing under the rain getting soaked.
"I won't let you leave. Stop running away! I have told myself that you haven't changed all this time but you have! The Rukia I know doesn't runaway like you do now or like you did before. You owe me answers and I want them now," Ichigo exclaimed. Good thing for Rukia that the rain blended in with her falling tears.
"What do you want me to answer Ichigo?" she questioned simply. A cough then escaped her mouth as Ichigo was about to speak. "I'm fine now tell me," Rukia continued.
"Why did you leave me? I was broken when you left and you never returned. So tell me why did you leave?" Ichigo questioned. He continued to repeat the same question over and over as Rukia stayed silent. Her mind was blank. She had so many emotions in her heart but no thoughts in her mind.
"Because I was scared! I was scared for you to find out that I loved you! I was scared not to be enough since I'm just a plain soul. I was scared that I would fall so hard for you but still I did! I was scared because I didn't have a lot to offer like Orihime did! So yes I acted unusual and ran away because I thought by running I would be safe from you breaking me! I wasn't. I thought of you everyday and it broke me piece by piece. It broke me to know I acted like a coward and left the one I loved. That's why I left but I would give anything to go back and stay by you side," Rukia replied as she lowered her head. Usually in a situation like this you would expect the guy to hug and embrace the girl but it was Ichigo and Rukia. As the words hit Ichigo his sadness turned anger. He should have just accepted Rukia's words but being as stubborn as he is he didn't stay quiet.
"Don't you ever run away again! You asked me to notice Orihime one time while you made that whole plan. You asked me to notice her feelings and accept them! Well now I'm asking you to notice me! Notice how I feel for you because I wouldn't be standing here in the rain if I didn't like you the way I do! I changed because of you. I blocked everything and everyone out and became cruel. When I saw you fighting that hollow I felt like my old self again. Now that I stand before you I feel like myself again. I need you to stay so I can be the real me because only you can make the rain go away! I forgive you for leaving but I won't forgive you if leave again knowing how I feel," he replied. Rukia began to cough even louder which caught Ichigo's attention. He was so angry that he didn't feel how Rukia's hand shivered in his. He let go of her hand and placed his hand on her cheek. His eyes widened at how abnormally cold her body was.
"Come one I can't let you get sick," he said while pulling Rukia's arm. Rukia hesitated for a while but finally gave in. Ichigo decided to take Rukia to his house, their home. It was dark and late by the time they arrived so he decided not to disturb his sleeping family as he quietly walked into the house. Rukia felt the warmness of the house against her body as she gave a small sigh. She finally felt like She was home. Bit because she was in the house but because She was with Ichigo. As they walked into his room Ichigo grabbed a towel and handed it to Rukia. They walked into Ichigo's room where he gave her one of his shirts and He then searched for one of Yuzu's pajama pants.
"You can go dry off in the bathroom," Ichigo stated while pointing towards it. Rukia nodded her head as she did as directed. A while later she came out and saw Ichigo already laying down in new dry clothes in his bed.
"You're sleeping here tonight and I don't want to hear no as an answer," he stated as he looked at The raven hair girl. He gave a small smile noticing how h us shirt fitted largely on Rukia's small body. Rukia made her way towards the closet and laid down. Her cold body began to feel warm as she draped the covers over her body. She felt her tired body began to feel even more limp. Here eyes began to close slowly as She was about to close the closet doors.
"Don't!" Ichigo exclaimed. He didn't want her to close the doors. He grew scared that if she closed them that when he opened them tomorrow morning she wouldn't be there. He still hasn't got all the answers that he wanted and he was sure Rukia had plenty of questions herself. Rukia whispered a simple 'okay' as she rested her hands back beside her.
"You won't run away again if I fall asleep will you?" teased Ichigo. Rukia gave a small chuckle as she shook her head no. Feeling reassured Ichigo closed his eyes and went to sleep and Rukia did the same. They had a long day awaiting for them.
