ISLA

"Isla!" Mia called from ahead of me.

I immediately turned around and started running.

Though she wasn't in sneakers she quickly caught up to me. She held me by the arm.

"What do you want?" I groaned.

"Listen to me."

I jerked my arm away from her and cross both arms over my chest, gesturing her to talk.

"I'm not dating Chad."

I snorted.

"I'm not!"

I rolled my eyes.

"Chad isn't my boyfriend," she said. "Chad is my best friend. He's my fake boyfriend, and I'm his fake girlfriend."

"Wait what?" I asked in disbelief.

"My dad," Mia said. "Is homophobic, but I might take over his law firm one day or my mom's company so if I decide to take over the law firm he could reject giving it to me. And he doesn't know I'm a lesbian, and Chad's parents don't know he's gay so we made up the fake dating thing."

I stared blankly at her.

"You wouldn't understand," she groaned.

"I wouldn't understand?" I asked. "I wouldn't understand!?"

Mia took two steps back.

"My parents kicked me out," I said, my voice cracking. "My parents, the people who are supposed to love me no matter what couldn't accept me. So no Mia I don't understand."

With my head held high, I marched away.

"Isla." Mia chased after me again.

"What!" I snapped, tears blurring my vision.

"Are you crying?" she asked.

"No," I said with conviction. "I don't cry."

Mia took my hand and led me into the bathroom.

"Get the fuck out," she said to the sophomores at the sink and locked the door behind them.

"I'm sorry," she said. "I forgot about your parents."

"I'm not sad about it stop acting like I'm a victim," I said.

"Isla," she said slowly as if comforting a child. "It's okay to cry."

"I'm not crying!" I snapped.

She cupped my face in her hands, and wiped away my tears.

"I don't cry," I said.

Mia smiled. "What are you doing now?"

"Sweating profusely," I replied and she laughed.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you," she said.

"I'm sorry I didn't listen," I replied.

"I'm sorry I made you cry."

Having nothing else to be sorry for I said, "you win."

She laughed again.

"I should just listen to you next time," I said.

"So we're dating again?" Mia asked.

I smiled. "Hells yeah," I said and pressed my lips to hers.

Misla is back bitches. If you didn't want Misla then I don't even want to know why you're here.

I struggled to write this chapter then due to my own experience realized the best way to solve a problem in a couple is to talk about and that's what Isla and Mia did.

Also ON TIME UPDATE! YES YES YES YES! HOLY FUCK ITS BEEN SO LONG.
