Yvonne looked at the mirror and saw an overweight figure standing there in front of her. She blinked twice in order to make sure that her eyes weren't playing tricks with her.
Once the second blink was done, she saw a hollow face staring blankly at her. She gasped in shock and saw her reflection move. Then, she smiled wider than a Cheshire Cat. She finally had the perfect figure according to society's standards.
Or so she thought.
The next day at school, people stared at her in disbelief. She looked like a model with her glowing body. Unfortunately, some didn't think as so. Crystal and Melanie strutted towards her and gave her a smug smile.
"So you've finally decided to not cause an earthquake whenever you walk?" Melanie sneered while checking her already flawless nails.
"And surprise surprise, you're glowing. I knew you were pregnant you slut," Crystal added. "You are after all a slut. I'm still surprised how you managed to get laid. So who did you fuck? A frat boy?" Crystal questioned with a smirk.
"Better yet, did you have a gangbang and now you don't know who's the father?" Melanie asked with a sickly sweet tone. The crowd that has formed around them laughed and some threw trash at her.
"Look at that! A trash. That means the trash can is calling for you. Go back to the dumpster slut," Crystal said looking straight into Yvonne's eyes. Yvonne hid the hurt that she was feeling. She read somewhere that laughter is the best medicine.
And so she laughed. She laughed and laughed until it sounded like a witch's crackle. She laughed her pain away and leaving them all looking at her like she had gone bonkers. Her heart was hurt so badly.
She was insane.
