The car ride home was very quiet. I was glad Jack didn't ask any questions, although he kept looking at me awkwardly as if there was something he needed to say, or ask. This made me feel self conscious, as if something bad was going to happen, as if Jack didn't really have feelings for me.
But then why would he kiss me? I told myself, maybe he thought he had feelings for me, or... A horrible thought struck me, what if he was trying to make Maddie jealous, I guess it kinda made sense.
His car drew up out side my house, and he glanced at me, I continued to stair out the window.
"Well here we are.." He said at last.
I gulped.
"Would you like me to come in with you?" He asked.
I was still silent, what was I supposed to say?
"Kennedy? What happened, please tell me, I'm worried about you."
Worried, that word. He was worried about me? Tonight was all just to much.
"You really wanna know?" I gulped.
"Of course Kennedy." he turned to me and put his hand on my leg.
"I'm just to stressed right now and I need to think things through, call me tomorrow?"
He nodded, still looking concerned.
"One last question," he said, " is any reason your upset because, or has something to do with me?" He asked.
He saw the look on my face and said,"be honest."
