I spent all night going over each murder carefully. I looked over every detail and nothing is any clearer to me. Besides that all of these are cold murders, there is nothing that I have learned about them.

I also assessed that in no way is Daniel the killer. Why would anyone set themselves up like that? Unless he's trying to use reverse psychology on us. Maybe, Daniel put his name on that knowing the fact that we would second guess it and he would be off the hook.

I cradled my head in my hands and sighed. I was stressing over this and this level of stress can absolutely not be healthy. It could go either way. The only thing that I was positive about was that the killer was very smart. It seems that they're five steps ahead of us.

Also, if Daniel was not the killer and he was being framed, the one framing him (the killer) should have a lot of hatred piled against him. That means that the killer is or has been acquainted with Daniel. Which also means two things. First of all, I'm close and second of all, I absolutely cannot loose contact with Daniel.

I didn't get any sleep last night. I spent endless hours continuing to investigate further into these murders. One thing I stumbled upon -around 4 in the morning- was that, the other letters had hidden meanings as well. Some examples of the hidden meanings were, "Schizophrenia", "Cast Away", and "Rvng 4 Brkn Hrts" which I decided meant "Revenge For Broken Hearts".

I had no interest in anything today. I was too exhausted to do anything. Basically, all I did was follow Skylar around. Daniel wasn't at school today which was strange but it might not have been more than a coincidence.

Skylar turns out to be a very nice and interesting girl. Turns out we have a lot of things in common. We both enjoy the same music, have the same tastes in art, and agree upon politics, same sex marriages, and economy, which is a first knowing how strong my opinions are in all those subjects.

She also has a lot of intelligence, which is hard to find now-a-days, knowing the fact that girls flaunt themselves and set all their IQ points aside to get boy's attention for all the wrong reasons. I'm not saying every girl does this, it just seems way more common now than when I was in high school four years ago.

Now, we were in our last class, Economics. I had my head rested on my arms. I looked around the room testing everyone, observing their actions, and eliminating the ones that did no fit the criteria of the killer. I especially examined Daniel's friends. All of them checked out and I didn't find any of his friend having anything against him.

I turned my head to Skylar who was sitting in the row next to me. She was staring at the teacher with great interest. "Skylar," I whispered loud enough to grab her attention.

Her attention snapped away from the lesson and directly onto me. "What?" she breathed.

"Do you know anyone that would hold anything against Daniel?" I asked softly but directly.

"Daniel?" her eyes widened. "Why do you ask?" She questioned frantically.

"Mr. Martin and Ms. Ryder!" the teacher snapped. "Detention."

Skylar groaned and fell back in her seat. Well at least that will give me more time to talk to her after school without being weird. Unless the teacher is one of those weird teachers that decide to stay in the room for the full two hours. Luckily, this teacher looked miserable while just teaching his mandatory class let alone wasting an extra two hours of his time on us.
