After that class, Skylar didn't talk to me. She just walked out of the room and didn't look back. All day, I couldn't get the thought of her knowing my identity out of my head. How could she know?

I'm sure she doesn't actually know. This happens in a lot of movies. The boy has a secret, the girl says "I know your secret.", the boy freaks out, and it turns out the girl knows a 'secret' that is not the secret the boy was freaking out about.

I was debating calling Skylar to ask her what she was talking about since the second the last bell rang. I have to admit, the thing that was holding me back was fear. I had never felt fear before, I was born fearless, emotionless. But, all that stopped since I started this damned mission.

I grabbed my phone and without a second thought and tapped her name. It rung three times and then the rings stopped. There was silence on the other line. "Hello?" I questioned.

A few more seconds of silence. I was about to hang up when I heard her voice. "What do you want?" she said abruptly.

"I have a question." I said softly, trying to not to aggravate her even more.

"What did I mean by 'I know who you are?" she asked.

"Yes." I confirmed. There's no way she knows. I was relaxed, her answer couldn't be what I thought it was.

"You're an agent investigating the killings along the east coast." she stated in a monotone.

I was taken aback. I didn't know what to say. She couldn't know my identity. I couldn't get a job in my only line of work if she blew my identity. I decided to deny it. Couldn't do any harm. "What?" I chuckled out. "I'm 18. How do you expect me to be an agent?"

"Because you're not 18." she informed calmly.

"What do you mean I'm not 18?" I tried to sound slightly offended.

"Cut the bullshit. I know everything. I know there was an agent coming to the school, because I was the one that called in to give the lead." she acknowledged.

"You what? Well, who is the killer?" I urged.

"I can't tell you that. I'll be struck with regret for all my life." she explained. "However, Your first instinct wasn't right. Neither was your second. Trust your guts as of right now." she advised.

I was thinking. So Daniel is the killer. That would make sense. All signs point to him, and it is highly possible that Daniel told Skylar. She's the only one he trusts.

"I'm coming over. We have to go turn him in." she prepped, and hung up.

Daniel

There was a ringing in my ears as the world around me started coming into perspective. I tried opening my eyes, but the light in the outside world was too blinding, and I shut them again. I tried picking up my head from the cold surface it was laying on, but it was too heavy. I gave up trying to move anything and just remained still. All of a sudden, I felt too massive hands latching onto my shoulders. Those hands pulled my limp body off of the cold surface, and out of my slouching position. Pain shot throughout my body, and I cried out in agony.

"Oh, shut it, Romano. You deserve much more for the crap you've done." the same 'fimiliar' familiar voice I had heard in the movie theater snapped.

I tried with all my might to open my eyes to confirm what I thought was real. Once I lifted my eye lids, my suspicions became reality.

"Ginger? Where am I?" I choked out. A sharp pain that originated from my skull shot itself throughout my body. "Damn, you got an arm in you." I winced, heaving my arm to the spot where she had struck me, pulling it back too reveal a handful of blood.
