It has been a couple weeks since Trac let me join into the town, but since then I have been studying different types of sorcery around me. There is some sacrificial, one that comes from nature, and there are other who seem to channel the magic around them. I have also been collecting materials to try to repair the abandoned house for myself. Seajay would occasionally help me but she usually busy trying to figure out to link certain things that normally don't exist with each other. Throughout those weeks I found a logbook about someone, who refered to themselves as the shadow man, and what they did to discover certain things and where it ventured to. I spent the next couple of days reading the logbook and I realized that "the shadow man" was the person before me. He called himself that because he practiced and more eviler, darker side of magic. It also explained his exploration into hell and what he discovered there. He never explained how he managed to create a way in there but he did mention that he left a secret area underneath his house for testing purposes of the hellish side of magic. I decided that it would be best to keep this for myself, so I can see where he went wrong.
"Knock, knock." I hear Seajay says from the other room.
"Let yourself in I'm just studying these notes." I say as I scramble to hide the book.
"Yesterday I went out to collect some materials and I found these." she says as she pulls out a small pouch and tosses them to me.
I look at the bag curiously and open it up to see small crystals pulsating with different light.
"So any idea what these are?" she asks me.
"Yeah I saw it some notes. I think these are concentrated aura of some primal elements."
"Primal elements?"
"Yeah the person before me explained it as the basis of life. Things like air, water, fire, and so on. I think he was only able to find about four crystals of these and that's how he figured it out."
"Oh so these things are really rare."
"Yup, but I wonder how these were formed. The book doesn't metion anything about it."
"Here you can keep them. I don't have a use for it."
"Thanks." I get up, hug her, and walk her out.
At the door she turns around and says, "You should get out more. People are beginning to wonder if you went crazy and died like the one before you."
"I might."
