Putra's POV

I could feel myself slowly tearing apart from the real world. A darkness creeping into my mind and infiltrating my soul. It was too strong. I couldn't held back.

It was as if I was forced to become something I am not and the worst part of it is that I can't do a thing to stop it.

A smirk began to form on my lips and I felt the quenching thirst for blood.

This is it. The monster inside me whom I've kept at bay for so long..

Myself.

I lunged at the terrified pair of eyes in front of me and clutched her fragile arms in my grasp. She was so weak that she couldn't even let out a squeal.

I looked at the blood tracing down her exposed neck and licked my lips. Sarah's round eyes bulged as my fangs dug into her flesh and sucked out the life from her. I drank and drank as if I was a hungry monster and tossed her body aside.

I looked at Zarif in front of me and said " I want more."

He laughed, amused.

I didn't waste time. I sniffed the air and sensed my prey. Farah, she is next.

I found her wandering on the third floor of the dark building. I played peek a boo with her. Boy, was she terrified running around thinking a ghost was chasing her! It was fun. Especially when I startled her at the corner of the staircase and drank the life out of her.

Gladly, at the other side of the building Aidil saw me. So, I left Farah on the stairs and chased him instead. He ran really fast actually. But, sadly, I'm faster.

Then, suddenly my nose picked up a scent. Fresh warm blood coursing in the veins of a living person. The sweet smell of it waft in the air, filling the night. Why did it smelt so good? Like seriously, I've never smelt anything as good as that. So, deliciously tempting. Her heartbeat was fast; she was running perhaps. That made the gushing flow of her blood sounded more quenching to my ears. Everything about her screamed ecstacy.

I opened my eyes as if awoken from a beautiful dream. I sniffed again trying to locate her and gladly found her. She was nearby.

I smiled and teleported to the lovely smell of Mun's blood.

Mun's POV

I can't stop running. Not when my friends are in danger. Not when I know a blood thirsty vampire is hunting them down.

I searched everywhere but I couldn't find them. I stopped in front of a classroom door. It was locked. I shook the door handles violently in despair. I shook it again and again as if my life was depending on it. I was so scared.

"Hello there."

I turned around and saw Putra smirking in front of me.

"What are you doing here, Putra? Don't you dare come near me!" I shouted at him. But he didn't flinched.

" Mun, don't be scared. I won't hurt you. I just want to have a talk." He said, sounding very casual. Something about him was definitely off. His cocky manners and flirtacious being now is not the Putra I know. Putra is a gentleman with girls and though he is full of himself he always lend a hand to those in need.

"Mun." He called my name softly.

"I know you're scared but trust me I won't hurt you." He said in an eerie tone which gave me chills. He grinned. "At least for now."

He lunged at me with his fangs out in the air. I shut my eyes preparing for what camr next. But it didn't came. The pain I thought would commence from Putra biting me didn't came.

Instead I heard a yelped and hissing sound from Putra.

"What the..?" He looked at me in shocked.

He came closer and tried to touch me again but his fingers burnt at the mere touch of our skin.

He pulled it back, wincing in pain.

"Hahaha, this is fun. Guess someone put a protective spell on you huh?" He cockled his head and smirked.

"Get away. I don't know what you are talking about. But I am well damn sure that you cannot hurt me but I can hurt you!" I threatened him, though my heart was pounding with fear. "You are nothing but a blood thirsty monster, a murderer and I don't even think you deserve to come any closer to any of us. You even lied to me! You're not even human!"

His eyes glowed a crimson red. He was pissed.

"You do not threatened me!" He glared. I was mad too. Mad for his lies and mad because he hurt us all. Mad because he was conspiring with Zarif.

"Yes, I can! You lied to me. To all of us. You hurt our friends and tried to hurt me too. Was all the nice and witty Putra a lie? Huh? Was it?" I shouted at him.

"And yet I thought you were my friend. You're nothing but a liar!" I screamed and he teleported in front of me clasping his palms around my neck. I couldn't breath. It was ad if he was trting to break my neck.

"You don't know anything about me to judge me!" He hissed.

I clamoured at his hands trying to pry it off my neck. I was wearing my scarf so his skin didn't touch mine.

"Putra, please. Don't do this."
I managed to breath out a few words between pants.

"You're hur..t..ting mmme..e.." I called out. But his grip just got tighter.

Suddenly, I saw a flicker of change in his eyes. "Hurt? Mun?" He sounded puzzled.

My view became blurry and I uttered the same words again when I saw Yus, hitting Putra on the head with a chair.

Then, everything went blank.
