Chapter 4 - Pt. 2 - Marine Pursuit! Xeron Arrives!

---------Not far outside of Den Country------

'Den Country. Paradise of the pirates of the South Blue. I wonder if they made it there already? I bet Graam already started trouble.' Xeron thought to himself grinning as he sat in a small one man boat on his way to Den Country.

--------Navy HQ, North Den Country-------

"Captain Duncan, sir! We have reports of pirates causing a ruckus on the eastern part of the city, sir." A small low ranking marine reported as he stood in front of a desk where his commanding officer sat.

"Any idea who they are?" Duncan asked calmly.

"No sir. They seem to be rookies, sir." The marine answered.

"How many?" Duncan continued to question his subordinate.

"There have been reports of a total of 30. Also one child that took on some pirates then escaped along with a half rabbit half man, probably a devil fruit user." The marine informed.

"Hmmm, sounds like the reports of the small kid pirate were true. Private, that boy and his rabbit are to be pursued." Duncan ordered feeling a sense of excitement and anxiousness.

"Yes sir! What would you like to do about the others sir?" The marine asked.

"I'll handle that. Assemble 100 officers and have them meet me over there immediately. I'll be going on ahead." Duncan ordered with a grin ready for action.

"Yes sir!" The marine shouted before rushing out of the office.

Once the door shut, Duncan rose from his chair and walked towards his coat rack. He grabbed his Navy Captain's jacket and slid it on quickly.

"This group of rookies could be fun!" He said grinning with joy as he dashed out his office's window, shattering the glass.

--------West Den Country--------

"So, Pilot, what's this lab you've told me about like?" Mavex asked.

"Well it's kinda hard to explain unless you're educated in this kinda stuff. I think it would be better if I just show you but we're almost there so don't be too anxious." Pilot replied with a warm smile.

"Okay sounds good, I can't wait! But one more thing I can tell you've been thinking about it and you did say you wanted to be a pirate. So basically what I'm trying to ask is have you been thinking of considering Graam's offer of joining our crew?" Mavex asked curiously.

"I've been considering it, but I haven't come up with an answer for him just yet." Pilot answered with a nervous grin.

"Well just let me pressure you into it. Come up with your decision on your own just like I did...somewhat." Mavex laughed.

"Thanks, Mavex." Pilot replied with another smile this time seeming less nervous.

---------East Den Country--------

'Hmm...and she thought I'd cause trouble, but she's about to get into a full-fledged fight with this bear fella?' Graam giggled to himself in thought.

"Hey, Kushina! What happened to staying out of trouble?" He yelled.

"To hell with that I'm going to fight! Teaching this guy a lesson will be worth it!" Kushina replied with anger as she rushed Bearking with her fist raised.

"Haha, whatever I'll just be on standby until something happens!" Graam laughed.

"Right." Kushina affirmed.

"Ha, you think you can take me on alone little girl!?" Bearking furiously shouted as he prepared to counter attack, "I'll go easy on you, at first, so you can forget this craziness and run along like a good little bitch!"
