losing someone you love is just like losing a very rare and precious gem. a gem that cannot be found on earth ever again. you whom i lost . warm hugs , a shoulder to lean on when im sad and frustrated and the warm smiles that shines bright and warm like the morning sun has disappeared from me.

laura's POV

it was my first day of school in a new co-ed school. i have been studying in a girl's school in America for 12 years. my mother is half korean and half chinese. that's why i am able to understand a little korean.

my stomach started fluttering just thinking about the new school environment like if i am able to cope with studies and how i act in front of boys. while all the nervousness is going around my head, i bumped into someone.
papers flew and books landed on the floor.

"im sorry... im so sorry, i didn't mean it. " i quickly got on my knees to pick up the papers and books on the floor.

"it's alright, by any chance, are you new to the school? " a gentle voice asked. i looked up to see a girl with a very bright smile, smiling down at me.

"yes and im actually kind of lost. do you mind helping me? " i asked thinking that she would reject me.

"of course i don't mind!! follow me. im valerie, what's your name?" she asked as she started walking.

"im laura, or you can call me cha yeon gi. " i replied running to her side. she then led me to the office to get all the procedures done.
"cha yeon gi , you can proceed to class 2-04 for your lessons and here is your timetable." the staff admin passed me a piece of paper.

i looked at the timetable and went for my class after expressing my gratitude to valerie. walking down the aisle was tough, everyone gossiping and pointing towards me. i just looked down and quickly walked to my class. i went in the class and sat down at an empty seat. just when i am about to take out my books and stationary, a guy came towards my table.

"get off. this is my seat." he kicked the leg of the table causing it to shift. my eyes shifted to his crooked name tag. it reads "jin"

"sorry. i will move to another spot. "i kept bowing to him trying my very best to not create any trouble on the first day of school. he pushed me aside and i landed on the floor. i slowly regained my posture as i heard laughters coming from the class.
