He'd be gone for three whole months.

He refused to let her come with.

He didn't want her to be there when he was screaming things about her into the songs he was playing.

Corey didn't realize how much he'd miss her until now.

He was holding his bags. They were standing on the front porch of him and Iris's house. He was looking right at her.

He immediately dropped them and wrapped his arms around Iris's waist, and held her tight.

Iris wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head against his shoulder.

"I love you," He said softly, fighting the tears that were threatening to fall.

Iris's eyes widened. She couldn't remember the last time Corey had told her that.

But she didn't care about that. He told her that he loved her.

"I love you too Corey," She managed to choke out, before she cried softly against Corey's shoulder.

She looked into Corey's blue eyes.

Then, Corey slowly leaned down, and kissed her.

Iris gasped. Why was he saying all this now? And why did it seem like he was going to miss her? I mean, she never saw him for weeks at a time, and he not even once thought about her.

What's so different about him leaving this time?

But she wasn't thinking about that.

She kissed him back.

She wanting to savior this one kiss she wouldn't get for a long time.

Corey kissed her softly, but passionately, not wanting to pull away.

Corey's arms tightened around her waist.

This was the Corey she missed.

The soft and gentle Corey.

The one that would hold her like this on a daily basis, and tell her how much he loved her.

She loved this Corey. The Corey that was going to be gone for three months.

Corey didn't want to leave her. Especially like this. There was so many things he needed to talk to her about.

But he knew he couldn't do anything about it now.

The tour bus was waiting on the curb.

Soon Corey unlaced his arms from Iris's waist, and left.
