I have a friend and we both are digging as deep as we can into the case of the homicide of the Woods family.
We started in Grant's Pass where this newspaper (Bottom Right) recording the incident happening. We have reason to believe that Jeffrey's family either moved or originated in Maryland. Our crime reports lead us towards The Woods family moving to Maryland.
Over 546 murders took place in Maryland in 2006, the year of the mutilation of both Peter Woods and his wife. Their son Liu Woods survived but was put into immediate hospitalization. Jeffrey Woods (Top Left) was never found. Later during that stay, Liu disappeared from his room in Sacred Heart Hospital. Experts have led on that their shared belief is that Jeffrey dragged his brother from his room and finished the job he had started only a few days beforehand.
Many believed that he committed the murders after many traumatic events dealing with some boys from his school picking a fight with him and Liu. The officers working on the case blamed the murders on the kid and his trauma induced insanity. After the incident leading to Jeffrey's hospitalization and eventual physical scarring, he was never seen again in the public. Well until January 6, 2011. An unknown surveillance camera shot was taken of a person meeting his features. This picture was quickly found on the internet. This caused the famous myth of Jeff the Killer to be born.
I must admit that it was difficult to sift through all the fandom and bullcrap on the internet. We found most of our discoveries through hospital records and police reports. We will be sure to update this as soon as we have any info on whereabouts or even recent murders that might be connected to Jeffrey Woods.
-Update-
A bit more digging led us to the middle name of Jeffrey. We can now call him Jeffrey Allen Woods. Sadly all record searches for kidnappings since 2006 have come up blank. It seems the police did not list Jeffrey as a victim for kidnapping or as a missing person. This leads us even more down the path believing that the Grant's Pass Police Force pegged the murders and potential kidnapping on the youngest member of the Woods family.
Despite the lack of missing persons reports, we searched up the crime records for anything related to Jeffrey Woods in both Oregon and Maryland. We are still sifting through the records for anyone related in features (which I do have to say are one of a kind) and related in age.
Both my partner and I came back blank when searching the internet for the existence of Liu Woods. All the info we found on him was quickly disproved by hospital records and plain common sense. There was no proof that Liu had any mental instability. His neurological capacity was obviously greater than his brother, seeing as he was able to stay perfectly sane during his time unfairly spent in jail walls. The first hospital record for him showed his mental activity to be normal.

Quick Note: Please notice how I did not constantly call Jeffrey Jeff the Killer. I find calling him that a bit disrespectful. We don't know if he actually murdered his family. He could be in some psycho's basement being tortured for all we know (or dead). So unless we know for sure please refrain from labeling Jeffrey Woods as a homicidal maniac. All the information here is based on a common belief and does not reflect me or my anonymous partner's opinion upon the case. Our opinion is our and ours alone. The lack of opinion in the piece of writing might actually help someone so shut up and read the facts.
