So far all who have ever been around a fire you knows that you have to constantly be fueling the fire, so that it continues to burn.
The fire is similar to our relationship with God our father. If you only feed on his word when you go to church on a Sunday or on a Saturday. During the week when your at school your fire for Christ that you were feeling at church will eventually burn out.
You'll see the things they do and completely forget what you are suppose to do. Its easier to do the wrong things for the word is no longer with you to help you to restrain evil doings.
We will do the same things that they do and will no longer be different. People should be able to tell from our actions that we are God's children.
Does a spring send forth both sweet water and bitter from the same opening. James 3:11
Fresh water and salt water can't flow from the same source. We can't claim to love God and do the devils will its not right, we can't say we love god and around our friends we talk completely different things.
I'm not saying I don't do those things as I am speaking from experience. But trust me nobody can stop you from going to heaven but yourselves. I believe that God had a plan for all of us to prosper but it is our sins that detours us off our right path. When you decide to put down your foot and say enough is enough, I will serve god and god alone and live the life he wants us to live no one can stop you..
Let's pray
Dear God thank you for waking us all up this morning. Please help us to put our foot down on our sins and to find back our original path in which you have set for us. Please touch all of our hearts , even me as the writer. Please help us to show that we are different and to continue feed ourselves with your word so we wont stray.
Amen.
