short chapter but hey blame it on autumn cause she wanted it so bad.

Aria's p.o.v.

I chew my nails nervously as I sit upon the couch. My due date was about two weeks ago and as the days press on, I get more and more nervous and hormonal. I push the thought out of my mind that it was going to happen right now, while Hayes was out last minute grocery shopping.

I laugh loudly as another rerun episode of drake and josh comes on, (my favorite show as a tweenager). Suddenly, in the midst of my chuckles, I feel a warm wetness between my legs. I choke as realization hits me. I look down. Oh my god. My water just broke.

Hayes isn't even home.

I feel a pang in my stomach and let out a scream. I fumble with my phone and dial Hayes's number.

"Baby?" He asks into the phone.

"H-hayes, my water! M-my-I-I'm about to have this baby!" I panic.

"Aria. I'm coming right now. Remember what the doctor said? It takes a while for the baby to actually start coming. I'll be right there. Hold tight." He says. I hear worry in his voice although his words calm me. I let out a heavy breath and feel my stomach settle slightly. The nerves quickly reappear.

"I know that the doctor said that if my water broke and I was home alone, I could wait a while because the baby won't pop out instantly. BUT I'm past my due date and the later you wait the quicker it comes out." I say nervously.

"That's not always true! Ari, you'll be okay. I'll be right there baby." He coos. I feel another twist in my stomach.

"H-hayes!" I scream out abruptly. "Just hurry! I'm hormonal and I hate being alone! God damn it why did you have to leave?!"

"I'm coming. I love you. You can do it." He says. He hangs up. HE HUNG UP. I'M PANICKING AND HE HANGS UP? HE DIDN'T EVEN ANSWER MY QUESTION! I'M GOING TO MURDER HIM. I stand up from the couch and walk slowly over to the door. I lean against the wall until my legs begin hurting, (which didn't take long). I slide down against the wall and place my hands on my stomach.

"Just a little longer Gray." I whisper to the baby in my stomach. I rub my hands over my watermelon-sized bump. Suddenly the door bursts open and a frantic looking Hayes tramples in.

"Wanna go?" He asks smiling. I can't help but smile back.

"Let's get this baby out.

...

"I'm scared!"

"WE ARE NEVER HAVING SEX EVER AGAIN. I REFUSE. NEVER."

"Your hand is turning purple. I'm almost sorry for you."

"I'm going to kill you as soon as I get this thing out."

"OH MY GOD HAYES."

"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO IMPREGNATE ME?!?!"

.

16 CRUSHING HOURS LATER

Tears. The whole thing is just tears. My beautiful baby boy is resting in my arms. Grayson Alexander.

And Hayes is weeping like a baby.

"I'm never leaving you." He cries. His breaths are shaky. "I don't want to leave you."

"It won't be that long." I try to comfort. He grabs my hand and looks into my eyes. He slowly presses his lips against mine in one of the most beautiful kisses we've ever shared.

"He's so beautiful." He whispers. We press our foreheads together.

"I'm so in love with you."

"I'll do anything to keep you two safe. I'm glad you went on that tour. I'm glad you sat next to me on that plane. I'm so happy we met. I'm ecstatic that we fell in love. I'm actually glad that Matthew tried breaking us apart because it only made us stronger. And I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat to fall in love with you again." He says. I burst into another set of tears. Hayes whispers a song into my ear to keep my calm.

"Aria? Would you like for me to send your family in?" The Doctor asks.

"That would be lovely." I smile. I wipe blink repeatedly to try to get my tears out of my eyes. Hayes laughs and wipes them away with his thumbs. As soon as our mothers come in they get teary eyed and happy.

"He's so little!" My mom cries quietly as she holds him in her arms. Tears are fully streaming down her face by now. Everyone is so happy. I can just feel the love in the atmosphere. Even Cameron cried. He actually bawled like a two year old.

I stare at everyone. Tears and happiness all around. I smile to myself. Hayes plants a kiss on my cheek as he notices my staring.

"It's only going to get harder." He says. I glance over at him.

"But we're a family. We'll always stick together. We'll stay strong. I'll bet on it. We'll get through this, Hayes." I whisper.

"I know we will. You're the strongest of them all. You're so strong and I know we'll overcome this little problem." He smiles.

"How do you know for sure?" I ask.

"Because I'll never ever stop loving you. I'll always be here for you." He says. I look in his eyes to see total contentment in them.

"Always."

...

I HAVE BIG PLANS FOR THIS BOOK STILL IT JUST TAKES ME A WHILE TO WORD IT RIGHT AND GET THE IDEAS. JUST HOLD ON. I PROMISE IT'LL BE OKAY IN THE END.
