|Chapter 2- Reunions and Bottles|

"Ok, details!" London said as soon as we sat down at our lunch table Monday afternoon.

"About.." I questioned, oblivious.

"Saturday night of course!" Eva beamed, energetic as always.

"Well I partied." I shortened, I didn't want to reveal everything that happened on Saturday!

"Oh really?" Eva said sarcastically.

"Oh come on just tell us, did you and Tyson get kinky?" London asked, but wiggling her eyebrows. And as soon as she said his name he came into sight, walking towards our table! Thank god, the subject can change.

"Hey girls." Tyson said as he sat down, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. This got a questioning look from both Eva and London.

"Hey...Tyson." London replied, still confused about the arm.

"So did Briana tell you about our kiss?" Tyson smiled, looking into my eyes. And to think he would save me from that conversation!

"You kissed?!" Eva exclaimed, standing in her chair, which made a bit of the cafeteria stare.

"Why didn't you tell us?" London asked, also shocked, and soon Eva sat down.

"Because I didn't want you to know." I growled at them, a little, no a lot, going towards Tyson.

"Oops." He chuckled.

"I'm hating you right now." I said, removing his arm from my shoulder.

"Oh whale." He replied, which made both Eva and London laugh.

"Seriously hating you."

"Ok class, please open the book 'The Great Gatspy' and turn to chapter 3." Mr. Lenore said. I mentally groaned as I flipped through the pages, on the other hand Eva was already on the page smiling as always.

"Do you ever stop smiling?" I asked, quoting Tyson.

"Well," she began..I could tell this was gonna be sad, I shouldn't have asked. "Sometimes as home..my brother, he-he, he takes all the bacon." She whispered with a sniffle.

"Really?" I questioned, amused.

"Yes!" She said, cheerful again. How weird.

"Now we will be reading chapter 3 through 5 today and take notes. After you are done taking notes I want you to make a summary about the selection you read and make a summary about the characters. Good luck, this will be graded." He finished as I started reading.

About 30 minutes later, I finished reading and finished the summary. Now onto the character summary.what about 'the Great Gatsby', as they call him. Why was he so special, and how did he earn that name.

Jay Gatsby, well he's a wealthy young man who is famous for the parties he throws every Saturday. Other than that he's an extreme mystery, no one knows where he came from, or how he became wealthy. That is until he met-

"Ok class, it's about time to go, so anything you did not finish I would like you to do for homework. Partner work will not be accepted." Mr. Lenore said, his strong voice scaring me out of my thoughts.
