Chapter 5

Skylar's POV

I watched as the man smirked wildly before making his way towards me. "Mr Dellenova how are you doing?" I tried to my best to keep my calm in front of that sex god. He slighlty caressed my right cheek with his hand and said "it's been a while Skylar Benay. I'm glad you remember me." I tried to back away from his hand but the counter blocked me. He stepped towards me till he was towering me and leaned down, whispering near my ear "how about a date? Hum you had caught my interest the other day and i would like for you to accept." I frowned at this. "Well how is your son and wife doing?" I replied instantly, a bit nervous as his nose was caressing the side of my neck. "They are both fine thank you. So how about that date?" His breath was fawning all over my neck and i shivered. "Then it's a no. I am not into adultery, you bastard" i whispered harshly before kicking him in the stomach. He groaned in pain and i thanked myself for taking karate classed years back. "I never want to meet you again Mr Dellenova and if we ever meet this will happen again." I said proud of my self before coming out. I decided to take my food home and asked the waitress to packed it instead. When i was about to step outside i saw Drake walking rapidly towards me but was suddenly stopped by an old man who seem to know him. Relieved, i rushed to the car and asked the driver to take me home immediately. When i got in my apartment i immediately threw my coat on the hanger and made my way to the living room, eating my diner and watching my favourite serie. I was watching two and a half man when i heard a knock. I pushed myself from the couch and groaned at the person behind the door who had interrupted my lazy day. When i opened the door i couldn't help but to check out the sexy hunk of a man who was casually leaning against the frame. Damn, i bit my bottom lips to keep myself from moaning. He was so sexy it was almost a sin. "What do you want and how did you know where i live?" I asked trying to be annoyed. He just smirked and said in that husky voice: "i followed you simple as that. It was kind of rude for you yo just leave me in the restaurant. Anyway, i want to bring you on a date darling!" I only raised an eyebrow and replied "who do you think you are?! I had already told you that i do not date cheating people. They are just disgusting... i despise them." He frowned and i thought a saw a glimpse of hurt before it evaporated. "Look, you already have a wife and a child... aren't you ashame to do such an act!" He glared at me before snapping "do not talk to me like that! You know nothing of me. You may reject me now but i promise you that in a few days you'll beg for me to take you darling." He winked before making his was back to his flashy car. I just pouted and slammed the door before stomping to the tv room and continued watching my serie. I can't believe that fucker... who did he think he was?! I fumed but couldn't help but think about this handsome man. How dare he? He was so sexy and devilish and.... no no no Skylar you can't. He i a freaking stupid playboy. I sighed. Today was a long day let's just go to sleep.

The next day i was woken up by my cellphone ringing. "Hello?" I groaned without looking at the contact name. "Hi Skylar sorry to disturb you but i just wanted you to know that your schedule for today has been cleaned. There is no shooting today because of some technical problem and your interview is postponed at the end of the week. Is that good for you?" "Yaaa a day off. Thanks Mark. See you" i replied contently. It's been a while since i had a day off. I hanged up and decided to get up and prepare for the day. Suddenly i got the idea of going out to eat breakfast. I decided to call Lily my best friend since childhood. "Hi Sky do you want to eat breakfast at IHOP?" I asked when she picked up. "Sure i guess I'll be ready in 15 minutes can you come and pick me up?" She said happily. That girl was always hyper, always. "Sure I'll be there in 30 minutes." We both hanged up and i finish preparing myself. I also took my hat, scarf and sunglass to prevent myself from being recognise. It's a pain in the ass when fans see me and try to take sefies with me. I mean i like my fans but i also want to relax on my day off. When i saw that it was 9 30 i decided to head out. I took my keys and phone and headed towards the car. I told the driver the destination and we drove to Lily's house. Lily was the same age as me but she was already married and had a child. You see she got pregnant with her highschool sweetheart's child when she was only 17. She dropped school and decided to study online while her boyfriend, which is now her husband, finished school and is know a lecturer in the local university in California. Lily works at a banking company as the secretary. When we pulled in front of her house the driver honked and after some time Lily came out accompanied by her child Seth. Seth was an adorable 5 year old boy. He was so cute and resemble his father with brown hair and pretty brown eyes. I'm sure he will cause multiple heartbreak in the future. The driver opened the door for Lily and helped the latter to place Seth in the backseat. I helped Seth buckled his seat belt before greeting them both. "Hey Skyboo. Sorry i have to leave Seth at this pre primary school as John when to work early today. That stupid husband of my." She said. "No problem Lily. After breakfast we can drive you there. Don't you hve work today?"i asked. "Oh no. I had taked a week of day off." "Huh why? Are you sick or something?" I said worried. She shook her head "No i'm completely fine don't you worry. I just wanted a break. How are you doing with the shooting and all. I hope you're not overworking yourself young man." I laughed and said "i know what you mean i need a break too. Anyway yes I'm doing fine and i'm not over working don't worry." Shortly after we arrived at IHOP. I climbed out and helped Seth getting out. He climbed on me and i decided to place him on my hips. We talked and laughed. Seth and i were always great friends. I always visited him and he said i was his favourite uncle. When we entered IHOP we asked for a table and the hostess leaded us to one near the window. Soon after the waiter came and asked us if we were ready to order. We all ordered our meal before making coversations of all sorts. I then decided to tell Lily about my encounter with the infamous playboy Drake. She squeaked at his mention. " i can't believe you why did you reject his advances?" She half screamed. Seth giggled at his mother while i only rolled my eyes. "He has a wife and a newborn child Lily." I said sadly. She looked at me with pity. Lily knew what happened to my parents and understood my hatred for cheaters. We decided to change subject and talked about other things
