Chapter 12

Drake's POV
I woke up next to my love. I liked this. This feeling of having someone so warm by my side. Skylar was so beautiful in and out. He loved Riley like his own and my family, well apart from that bitch who is my brother's wife, loved him. My parents were proud that i choose him like my lover. They considered him as their own son. I looked down and saw cuddle in my arms his face in the crook of my neck. The rays of the sun was glowing and making him seem as an angel. I removed one of my arms from his waist and caressed his face lovingly. Starting from his forehead i traced down until i came upon his lips. He stirred slightly and i removed my hand quickly. I didn't want to wake him up yet. I was planning to make breakfast on bed. I slowly took my arms off of him making sure to put a pillow as replacement. When i saw him stilled and hugging the pillow i went in the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I decided to stay in my boxer. I went back to the room and checked a last time on my love before going out. I walked to Riley's room and was surprised to see that he was already awake. He was babytalking and didn't seem to mind being alone. However when he saw me he grinned widely and wiggled his hands up for me to pick him up. I did so and kissed his cheek.
"Hey baby boy. Let me change you so me can go prepare breakfast for Skylar okay?" I cooed at him.
He tilted his head to the side and put his hand in his mouth sucking on it. He reminded me of a puppy. I snickered lovingly at him and brought him on the table to change him up and dress him. When we were done we walked to the kitchen where i fed Riley on his highchair before preparing breakfast. I look at the time. 7 30. Good. I had about 30 mins before Skylar wakes up. I decided to make scrambled eggs with bacons, strawberry pancakes and baked beans. I put them in two plates and placed them on a tray. The i poured coffee in two mugs one with milk and another without. I then placed a bottle of juice on the tray and two empty glasses. When it was ready i frowned. How do i do this shit? I have to pick both the tray and Riley. Well fuck me. I decided to pick Riley and place him in his enclosed playground. Then i walked back to the kitchen picked up the tray and walked back to the room where fortunately Skylar was still sleeping. I put it on the nightstand. Then i ran out and picked Riley and balanced him on my hips moving to my room. I put him on the bed and held him as i woke Skylar up gently.
"Baby! Wake up i have a surprise for you."
He groaned and opened his eyes slowly. He smiled sweetly when he saw us. "Good morning my boys." He cooed sitting up and stretching.
"Good morning babe." I said leaning to kiss him but he placed his hand on his mouth.
"Morning breath babe!" He said raising an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes lovingly at him.
"Riley show Skylar what we did for him." I grabbed one of his little hand and show the tray. Skylar followed his hand and his eyes widened when he saw the tray. His eyes glistened a bit.
"Thank you... i don't know what to say." He said well tried to say. His emotions was getting the best of him. I comforted him by caressing his arm and kissing his temple.
"It's alright babe i told you i would do anything for you." I whispered. We stared at each other before he nodded and got up he walked to the bathroom and brushed his teeth before coming back, kissing me harshly on the lips leaving me slightly shock and sitting back on the bed. I gave him his plate and the took mine. I placed Riley on my lap and started eating.
"Humm it's delicious." He moaned loudly. I smiled happy and proud that he loved my cooking.
"Anyway i know it's a bit late or something but how about playing 20 questions?" He asked a mouthful of eggs in his mouth. I laughed at him and wipe the corner of his mouth with a napkin before nodding.
"Well you start." I said after swallowing my food.
"Well umm who was your first love?" He asked after a minute of thinking.
I frowned. I didn't want to tell him this embarassing story of mine so i shook my head.
"No."
"Pretty please. Tell me babe." He said pouting and widening his eyes for effect. I sighed knowing i was already whipped.
"Well it was when i was nine. My mom made friend with a new lady and invited her for dinner with his husband. When she came i thought she was beautiful and being the stupid 9 year old i fell for her at first sight. When my mom and her grew closer she would come everyday and i would pick up flowers to give her or give her my chocolates. Then one day i decided to tell her and she laughed and told me she loved me too. Well she loved me as a son so she told me so. But when she bend to kiss my cheek i moved my head and kissed her lips. She freaked out and ran to tell my mom about it. Well let's say i was grounded and dad gave a long lecture about it." I said. He was shocked but he surprised me by bursting in a fit of laughter and tears running down his face.
"O-omg i can't b-breathe." He said still laughing. I frowned and pouted.
"It was a long time." I whined.
He ignored me and continued laughing for a good 10 minutes before sobbing out.
"That was fantastic." He said wiping the trace of tears from his face. I rolled my eyes "yeah yeah. So how about you? Who was your first love?" I asked.
"Well umlike you," he snickered at me, "mine was only a boy in school. I had a major crush on him but after a month or so he moved away." He explained. I nodded and we continued throwing questions at each other. It was fun and relaxing. In my 27 years old of existence (i don't remember if i mentioned his age before so let's just go with that.) I never spent time like that with my lover just talking and relaxing. And for the first time in a while i was happy to be by the side of my lover and my son.
I saw Skylar glanced at the clock and frowned slightly.
"What's wrong?" I asked while cleaning our plates and putting it back on the tray. Riley was in Skylar's arms so it was easier for me.
"I... i have a photo shooting for swimming suit at 11 00." He said biting his lips.
It was already 9 am so he had about one hour to get ready. I nodded.
"Then let's get up. I can drop you off if you want" i asked while standing up. He copied me and balanced Riley on his hips.
"No it's fine i will take my car." He simply replied before giving me back Riley and putting on his clothes. He came up to me and kissed me gently touching my face.
"I'm sorry i can't stay." He said sadly.
"It's alright love but i don't like it that you have to pose half naked in front of everyone." i growled. I was really possessive of him. I thought Skylar would hate me because of it but he actually surprised me when he said it was a turn on.
"I know baby but i have a good news for you." He said wrapping his arms around my body but being careful of Riley.
I nuzzled the top of his head.
"What?"
"Well my contract with the agency ends at the end of this month and if i don't renew it then i can't model anymore. Drake I'm quitting." He said staring at me with so much passion. I was shocked to say the least. He was quiting. I slammed my lips to his and dominated his mouth quickly.
"Thank you babe. It means so much to me. I know I'm a possesive freak and a controlling-"
He cut me off.
"No you aren't i know how possessive you are and I'm happy. I didn't want to do modelling for a long time." He explained.
"You're perfect you know that." I said looking at him in awe.
He only blushed and giggled slightly. He was so cute. He kissed me again and said
"Then i will leave. I'll call you later okay?" With that he left. I was scared, the more i spent time with him the more i fell in love with this sweet thing. I sure hope he feels the same. I know it's too soon for me to say it but i want to say it, i need to say it. I see myself with him in the future with more kids and a happy married life. I need to tell him now! I quickly took a bath and then bathed Riley. I dressed him and myself quickly and i entered the car. Just as i was about to start the engine my phone rang. An unknown number.
"Hello?"
"Mr Dellenova?" A voice sniffed through the phone. "I'm Amy, Skylar's aunt. I-i just got visit from the police. Skylar had an accident!" She said wailing.
