Chapter 3

I'll try and make longer chapters, especially since this is the last week of school! Ummm, You should get another update by frriday! My birthdays wednesday!

Beauty's POV

I got a call that my bestfriend was kidnapped when she was with RJ's brother. So, instead of trying to explain to RJ I just dragged him to the hospital. When we got there he asked me what was wrong. I just put my head down and told him that Carnell was shot in the knee and Jayla was kidnapped. After I realized what I said. I just burst out in tears.

RJ's POV

After she told me what had happened. I was pissed. But, then she started to cry. So I just hugged her. "It's going to be okay" I said. She just shook her head. After she calmed down, we walked into Carnell's hospital room. She went and sat down and I went up to him. I asked him what happened and this is what he told me....

Carnell's POV

I told RJ that we were walking to my car from the mall. Then, this boy walked up to Jayla. She was scared.. Jayla told me that he was Beauty's ex. She told me that he used to abuse her physically and emotionally. I guess he heard her and started shooting and tried to kill her. I told Jayla to run and thats when I got shot in my knee. So, I guess he caught up to her cause all I heard her yell was "Chance NO!"...

RJ's POV

When Carnell said the name Chance, Beauty's face changed from sad to pure horror. She started shaking and crying even more. I asked her what was wrong. She shook her head no, I pulled her out into the hallway and she started talking. "Who's Chance?" I asked her. I don't even know why I care. I usually fuck and duck but it's just something about her. "Well he's my ex-boyfriend... um we been seperated for 2 months... he used to hit me every day with anything he could get his hands on..." She told me. I just looked at her in shock. "Why?" I asked. It was the only thing I could get out my mouth. "He wanted to control me.." she said. I went to say something else but she just stared. I followed her eyes and seen a nigga bout my height walk through the door. I looked back at her and her face showed how scared she was.

Beauty's POV

I looked at the door and seen Chance my fear came back 10 times as worse than before. I guess he seen me because he walked toward RJ and I with his fist balled up and his face was red. I was getting ready to be hit. I never got used to it. RJ said "Let's go." but I couldn't move. So, we just stood there. He came and grabbed my arms and squeezed them really hard until I started to wince in pain. Chance whispered in my ear " You happy to see me? Whenever I see your ass alone just know you gone regret it." I felt tears run down my face. Then, RJ said something. It must've ticked him off cause he let me go and swung at him. RJ dodged it and punched him in the stomach. Chance backed off. RJ tried to pull me but I was too terrified to move. So he picked me up and he drove back to his house.

RJ's POV

I opened the door and sat her on the couch. She wouldn't talk so we sat there in complete silence. Then the phone started ringing it was from a restricted number.

Imma lay it on the line if you say yeaahh yeah.
I promise imma keep your heart right in mine, won't go nowheeerrreee.

C'mon and say you do-o-o-o-o-ooooo. Say it, say yeah you do-o-o-o-o-oooo.

And baby girl I want you to be mine if you say yeaaahh yeah."

Beauty started to move to it. In my mind i'm like what the hell! She must love her some B5. She didn't answer it. It rung again. She answered it. "Hello?" I mouthed to her to put it on speaker and thats what she did. "Hey Beauty. I got your bestfriend. If you don't do what I say I'll kill her." It was Chance. I could tell. "W-what is it that you want me to do?" she managed to choke out. "Come to my house alone at 10. Then, we'll go from there." She said okay then hung up. Beauty looked at me with fear in her eyes. We came up with a plan.

*LATER THAT FRIDAY NIGHT AT 10*

Beauty's POV

Me and RJ took seperate cars to Chance's house. I parked down in the driveway and he parked three houses down. I went to the front door and knocked on it. I can admit I was scared as hell. He opened the door and motioned for me to come inside. I couldn't even get 3 steps in the door before he punched me in the face. I fell to the floor and started crying. Next, thing I know he kneeled to the floor and kissed me. Then, he had the nerve to say you have the prettiest hazel eyes ever. IS HE CRAZY! HE ON SOME OTHER SHIT. I punched him in his nose and ran and opened the back door for RJ.

RJ's POV

Beauty opened the back door and I hugged her. When I let go I seen Chance standing behind her. He cocked his gun and put it to the back of her head. I felt one behind mine too. I turned around and seen my ex Nia. Chance started laughing histerically. I had so much hatred towards her so I just pulled my gun out and shot her in between the eyes. "WTF you doing! You just killed my girl!" Chance yelled getting in my face. Then he said "Well I guess it's time to kill yours."
