"Sir, we know where the girl is. She fled to the castle," my informant said
"Good. Let's send them a little message," I said

Angie's POV
"My qu-- sorry I thought you were the queen. Um...Do you know where the queen went?" A guard said
"I can send her the message," I said
"But this is for the queens ears only. Now where is the queen?" He yelled
"One. You do not yell at me. Two. I'll give you one minute to tell me what is the message you have to tell the queen?" I said surprisingly calm
The guard did a s gulp so audible I held back a smirk. But nonetheless he told me.
"We have people standing at the edge of the kingdom demanding the be heard. They are unknown people," he said
"Good. Jericho! Put the research on hold. Trenton, you are now in charge of the research until Jericho and I get back," I said
I motioned for the guard to lead the way. And we were off to go to the boarder. We got there a little fast because I rode on Jericho's back and the guard was running alongside us.
"Well, well, well, not what I was expecting. You look a lot older than the last time I saw you," he said
"Who are you? What do you want?" Jericho asked
"Isn't it obvious. I want my royal children back. I plan on getting them back. I let you have your fun until you were old enough to harness your power now, I get you back. So here's my proposition for you and every royal child. When you have your first child you give them to me and I kill you...or you die and I take your child anyway. And yes I made this deal with your mother....she chose to die than to give you to me willingly. So I had to hold our end of the bargain sorta. She died her end and my end I killed her and took you. Oh and one other thing if you refuse to have a child there will be a war," he said
"Yeah, no. You see you'll die in that war and you won't get anyone to give you their child willingly. Plus on top of that, I live for a war just to kill you," I said
"Then do it now," he said
"There you go again thinking you have the upper hand when you don't," I said lunging at him
But before I could Jericho pulled me to him as I struggled to get out of his grip. Knowing Jericho he won't let me go until I'm calm.
I can sense your anger. Why are you angry my mate said
Follow my scent. I need you to calm me down because I can't calm myself down eight now. I said
Okay. He said closing the mind link.
"Aw does little Angie have a mate? Hmm maybe he might be easier to kill," he said
I started fighting to get out of Jericho's arms harder. One more reason to kill him now. I thought
Got that right. My wolf said to me
"I'm here, babe," Derek said
Derek took my hand in his and pulled me to him. I took in his scent and held him tightly. I needed him here.
"Ah. So your mate is Alpha Derek, hmm. But of a challenge but I love a little challenge. But Angie I must go I have other people to get children out of, and if they don't give in everyone will end up like your mother and father," he said
And with that he left along with his posse. I continued to hold onto Derek not wanting to let go of him.
"Are you okay, love?" Derek asked
"Can I sleep with you tonight?" I asked
"Yes. Just sleeping though. I don't want Jericho to kill me," he said with humor in his voice
I could help but laugh. And with Jericho glaring the fuck out of Derek only made it even more funny.
"Who are your parents?" The guard that brought us here said
"With time you will find out. Unless the queen tells me to tell me to tell you. Oh and Derek when we get to our territory can Jericho come and train everyone who fights?" I asked
"They don't need to be trained. They are good fighters," he said
"Can they beat Jericho in a fight?" I asked
"I don't know. Probably," he said
"Know one can beat Jericho. He moved like lighting fast. He can anticipate every opponents moved the make all while making sure his moves are random as fuck. I remember getting trained by this guy and I hated it but in the end turned me into the fighter I am now," he said
"Then I challenge you to a fight. I win then you don't train my fighters. You win I train my fighters," Derek said
"Then let's hope I don't win, your mate will only feel sorry for you if you get punched all the way you to where you came from," Jericho said
"Leysvget back to the castle. I have to check on Trenton and make sure he didn't mess anything up," I said
