I looked around at my best friends lying next to what used to be their "fav" , who is now their guy, and it was so surreal. Ty was leaning on Ashton's stomach while they joked around and flirted and I just smiled to see her so happy.
I turned to look at Nicole and she was lying next to Mikey, who was, in fact, wearing a snapback, and he was nibbling on her shoulder while he listened intently to whatever it was that she saying.
It was mid afternoon and we were all feeling a hardcore buzz.
The marina was crowded and everyone was getting rowdy. We had been anchored for about an hour just enjoying being out on the water.
"Let's jump in!" Michael pulled Nicole up.
"What?! No way!" She exclaimed.
"Come on!! It's fuckin a blast! Plus, it's getting fuckin hot as hell up here." Mikey screamed as he stripped off his shirt and turned and jumped down into the water without hesitation.
We all looked down after him.
There is no way I am doing this.
"Oh. Shit." Nicole stood on the end of the deck. Mikey clapped his hands at the bottom.
"I got you...I promise." He yelled up.
"He can't even see straight...just a head's up......he don't got you." Calum laughed.
"Cal...shut the fuck up..! I got her." Michael slurred his words.
"Oh FUCK IT!" Nicole said "I love you girls!" she screamed as she jumped off the side of the yacht with a scream. We watched her go under the water and come back up laughing.
"Oh my gosh!! That was freaking awesome!!" She screamed up to us. "I fuckin did it!!" She hugged Michael.
He kissed her. "I told you that you could do it!"
"Yall are a bunch of wimps." Calum said as he jumped next and hit the water with a crash. "Come on!!" He called, waving us down.
Luke started throwing noodles down, knowing we probably were not going to have any choice whether we jumped or not and we would definitely need some type of assistance with staying above the water in our drunken state.
Calum's friend jumped next with an itty bitty little shriek. She was so little, she didn't even make a loud splash.
I looked at Ty. "Ahhhh" I imitated the girl quietly. Ty rolled her eyes... "I mean really. Who the fuck invited her?" I shrugged my shoulders.
We looked down at Nicole who gave us the, "Cut it out and don't start shit!" look we had grown so used to.
Ashton came over and grabbed Ty's hand pulling her toward the edge..... "1, 2, 3!!" Ashton shouted before they both jumped side by side...holding hands. They both screamed all the way down.
"Fuck...that means I'm next." I said looking over the edge and then stepping back again and looking at Luke who was looking at me, waiting for me to make the call.
"You got this girl!" Ty screamed from the water below. "Come on down...it was fucking amazing!"
God Damn. I am way too old for this bullshit.
"Do you want to do it? You don't have to do it." Luke rubbed my back.
I looked at him and back at the water below where our friends waited.
"Do you want me to go first? Or I can go with you at the same time." He suggested.
"Kind of like Rose and Jack in Titanic?" I asked not looking away from the water.
