PIERRA POV:
"Luke...wait up!" Ashton called trying to catch up to him.
"Where the hell is he rushing to?" Ty asked.
"Im thinking he is trying to avoid baby mama at all cost." I said watching Luke walk ahead of everyone and jump into the awaiting Escalade.
I got in the car and grabbed my spot next to him.
"So now what?" He mumbled.
"Now we wait." I replied. "Are you going back to L.A. tonight?"
He looked at me with those smoldering blue eyes and i tried to figure out what he was thinking.
He leaned in closer and whispered "Do you want me to stay?"
I. Was. Breathless.
"I want you to do whatever YOU want to do." I whispered back. "But that would require you to forgive me."
"I never said i didnt forgive you... i said i couldnt trus...."
"Fuck!" Michael interrupted.. "All this mumbling and whispering is driving me crazy. Can you all just talk like the rest of us?"
Luke rolled his eyes at him.
"I think you should all stay one more night so we can go out and have some fun tonight." Nicole called out from the back seat.
Luke's phone was vibrating like crazy. I knew it had to be Anna blowing it up because if it was anyone else, he would be reading the messages.
"Why dont you just answer her..." i whispered.
"Not talking about this with you.."
"And some more fucking whispering." Michael mumbled.
We both looked at him again.
I really had to learn how to ignore Michaels constant commentary.
Insane vibrating ensued.
"Are you afraid to see what she is saying?" I whispered.
I knew i didnt have a right to ask him, but there was a big part of me that wanted to see how far i could push him before he completely lost it.
"Last i checked.." Luke began "this wouldnt even be an issue right now if you hadnt lied to me......like... about everything.."
"Hmmf... Heard that loud and clear..." Michael added.
We both looked over at him....again.
Ashton giggled. "My God Michael- shut up."
"Well then...tell me Luke....why is it ok that crazy texter can lie to you alll the time and its ok?"
"Damnnnnn." Calum added.
Luke glared at me.
No response.
"Dude no joke...A just texted me 5 times and told me to tell you to read your texts." Michael held his phone up to Luke.
Luke rolled his eyes reaching in his pocket. I rolled my eyes at him..
"Stalkerrrrrr..." Calum sang from the back seat.
"Sooo where are we going tonight?!" Ashton tried to change the subject. Always the peace-keeper.
"When in Miami do as the Miam-ians do!!" Michael laughed.
"Let's go bar hopping..!" Ashton suggested.
"Miamians go dancing...not hopping." Nicole added.
"I could get my dance on no problem." Ashton started to salsa dance in his seat.
We dropped Michael and Nicole at Nicole's house and Ty and Ashton at Ty's house. Calum was tired from not getting any sleep the night before so he came back to my house and barricaded himself in the guest room so he could get some sleep before we went out for the night.
After changing out of my work clothes, i saw Luke sitting on the deck out back watching the ocean. I walked out after him.
"Hey. Need some company?" I asked.
"Course." He nodded.
"Hope you arent in too much trouble with your crazy stalker friend."
"I dont want to talk about it. I've got it handled." He walked over to the round sofa chair and plopped down. I went to sit by the fireplace but Luke patted the couch next to him.
I walked over and laid next to him staring at the sky.
"I know you are really upset about the baby." I began.
"Just so much to consider. One wrong decision and I can mess up a bunch of peoples lives."
"Why dont you just wait to get the results. Maybe then everything will be more clear."
Luke rolled over onto his side away from me.
"Im exhausted." He sighed.
"And ....he retains his title as little spoon." I joked.
A faint laugh escaped him.
"You know i really think you are better suited to be the big spoon."
"You know what I think? I loved the way you used to scratch my back until I fell asleep..." he hinted sleepily.
I accepted the invitation and snuggled closer to him running my nails gently in circles on his back.
"Thanks for being here for me. It means more than you know." He whispered.
"I will always be here for you, Luke." I whispered back.
It took all of my willpower not to kiss his neck and bite him like a starving vampire.
But i was stuck in the friend zone and didn't see an end in sight.
I laid my head on his shoulder wrapping my arms around him.
This wasnt typically a friend move, but we were different.
We were... well, we were US.
