PIERRA POV:

Now dont get me wrong, marrying Luke would be anyone's dream come true, so of course if he asked me, i would say yes. I mean I'm not an idiot.

But let's be honest. It was no secret that Luke had a history of falling in love way too quickly.

So one of us was going to have to think things through.

That someone was obviously me.

I didn't run after Luke when he had his little fit and slammed the door. I let him go pout for a bit and made him try to take care of Liam by himself.

I just laid on the awesome water bed staring at the ceiling, enjoying the peace and quiet.

It wasn't until my phone buzzed that i realized I had fallen asleep.

NICOLE: IM GETTING FUCKIN MARRIED!!

ME: WHATTTTTT!!!!!!

Then i got a picture of the biggest diamond I had ever seen. Somehow, I kind of had a feeling that Michael would never let the baby be born without them being married.

The issue created by this sudden fabulous news: Luke better never propose to me without a ring comparable to Nicole's....for sure.

I immediately called Nicole and we screamed and giggled like teenagers for a really long time. Until Mikey grabbed the phone from her.

"So what's up with Luke?"

"Mikey, you know I can't tell you. It's his deal. All I can say is that he's having a really hard time."

"I know what's coming, P. I'm not stupid."

"Congratulations on your engagement. How bout we celebrate when we get back?" I tried to change the subject.

"Ok. I get it. Your lips are sealed. Love you. See you Friday."

As I hung up the phone, I heard a faint knock on the door. "Come in." I called.

Liz stuck her head in. "Can I come in?"

I nodded. "Sure."

Oh Luke Robert Hemmings, if you said anything to her about me, I will murder you in your sleep.

"Listen, Im sorry you heard that conversation. It really isn't personal. I hope you understand." She said.

"I completely understand. I just want you to know, i understand the age difference is absurd. No one understands that better than me. But no matter what happens between me and Luke, i want you to know that I was never in this to gain anything from him. I mean, I am financially comfortable on my own. I am interested in him as the person he is. I truly care about him and will always be there for him no matter what paths we take."

"I appreciate you being honest with me. Luke has to do what is right for Luke. I know that. I just don't want the rest of your visit to be ruined. My concerns weren't meant to hurt you. But as a parent...."

"I completely understand. I promise. I have kids too. As awkward as that sounds. I would feel the same way if it was one of them. But i hope you know one day how much he means to me."

"How about we go have some tea?"

"Wine and you got yourself a deal." I smiled.

"Deal." She laughed.

We walked down and joined everyone in the yard where they were making dinner on the barbeque. Liz poured the wine and we all enjoyed our last evening in Australia.
