Callie P.O.V.
I shake my head as I get dressed. Evan was just joking around like he always does, right? "Right," I smile and throw my hair up into a messy bun. I look over out through my balcony doors. The girl, Casey, was just laying on her bed. "I'm gonna invite her over, that's a nice thing to do." I smile, the boys will be surprised I'm nice for a change. "I talk to myself to much," I shake my head and walk over to her. "Hey Casey," I wave at her.
"Hi uh Callie?" She asks, looking a little apologetic she can't remember.
"Yea Callie's the name," I laugh, "do you maybe wanna come hang out? I have some other friends over also but your welcome to come."
"Yea," she smiles widely, "I'd like that."
"Okay, uh you can either come through the front doors or climb over the railing if you want. It's not that far." I nod towards the balcony railings.
"Okay," she shrugs and climbs over to my room.
We walk downstairs to the basement where the guys probably are. Should I tell her they are all guys? I don't think she will care, but maybe just in case. "Hey Case, can I call you Case?" She nods. "Okay, just so you know, my friends? Well they are all--"
"CALLIE," they all scream.
"Guys," I finish looking over to Casey who had a hugs smile on her face.
"New girl?" Josh tilts his head in question.
I laugh and start with the introductions, "Evan and Josh are there on the xbox, Garret is over there by the fridge and" I look around not seeing Jared or Jason, "where are the other two?"
Evan shrugs, "I dunno, haven't shown up yet."
"Of course they haven't, well guys this is Casey she just moved in next door," I nod my head towards her.
"Hi," she grins sheepishly.
"Yo Casey you any good at Black Ops?" Josh asks.
"Hell yea, I can wreck you," she states crossing her arms over her chest.
"Damn girl, you show him what's up," Evan yells to her and hands her the remote.
Josh smirks, "Game on."
I grab a soda from the fridge and walk over to the couch perpendicular to where Casey and Josh were battling and slumped down.
"You okay?" Evan throws his arms over the couch behind me.
"Yea," I look to him with a smile, "Just tired that's all." I didn't want him to know what was really bothering me.
Evan P.O.V.
"Yea," she flashed me one of her gorgeous smiles, "just tired that's all." I raise my eyebrow at her. I could tell something was up but she obviously didn't want to talk about it so I wasn't going to push it.
"If you insist," I shrug and lean back on the couch. My mind went back to when I accidentally walked in on her, uh naked. I gotta be honest, I kinda wished I looked up sooner to see before she could cover herself. Damn she probably had a gorgeous body. Woa dude, you two are just friends, control yourself man. She doesn't think of you like that. I shake my head as the two idiots barge into the room.
Callie P.O.V.
"AND THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED," Jared scream walking downstairs with Jason shaking his head next to him.
"It's about time you two get here," I walk over to them.
"Damn Cal, who's the new chick next to Josh?" Jason smirks and Jared moves his head trying to get a better look at her.
"BOOM!" Casey yells, "and that's how you play Black Ops," I look over to see Josh with his head in his hands, Evan dying of laughter, and Casey dancing over to us. "Oh who's this?" she beams.
"Jared Jason meet Casey, she just moved in next door."
"Are you from Tennessee? Because you're the only ten I see," Jason laughs at Jared's failed attempt at flirting as Casey just stares at him.
She leans into me, "Did he really think that was going to work?" She whispers as I burst out laughing.
"And on that note," I state, "We are going to my room, adios," I salute the guys and pull Casey upstairs.
I dive onto my bed as she sits on my bean bag chair, "That was pretty pathetic wasn't it?"
She laughs, "Yea he might want to try a little harder next time."
"So, I know you only just met them, buy any of the boys you're interested in?" I wiggle my eyebrows at her as her cheeks turn a light shade of pink.
"Well," she curls a piece of hair around her finger, "Josh is pretty cute, even though he sucks at COD."
I burst out laughing as she makes a face. "Yea true he's all talk, but no game."
We sit in silence for a few minutes. But it wasn't awkward. I liked this girl. We got along well so far, it's as if we were old friends. We just, clicked. I pro myself up on my elbow, "So are you starting school tomorrow?"
She looks up at me, "Yea, I am." I nod.
More silence.
"Does your school have a dance team?"
"Yea actually we do! And Case, it's your school now to you know," I smile at her.
She beams at me, "Thank you so much for being this nice to me Callie, I was really nervous about starting school tomorrow, but I now know it won't be that bad with you there." She shrugs.
"No problem, I'm always here for you." I smirk as a thought comes to my mind, "hey, don't forget about the guys," I laugh.
She just rolls her eyes, "Ugh, boys."
