Chapter 15

We are now on the 4th day of school and it hasn't changed much. The kids are still making letters-even though its not an assignment-and Liam is still asking me about it, and I still have no friends. Except for this one kid. But he's kinda shy and doesn't talk much, but he's really nice.

I was just arriving to lunch when I look over and saw Liam. He was stood in the corner of the small cafeteria, holding McDonalds' bags. While wearing a jacket that hide his head and glasses that hide his eyes. His head search around the room, he wasn't smiling but he wasn't frowning ether-just a straight line that was his mouth. I walked toward him and he smiled wide finding me.

"Hey Sidney, I brought you some lunch" he spoke bending down to give me a hug.

"Yay" I lightly cheered as we walked to a empty table.

We sat down and began to talk as we eat the delicious and fattening food of McDonalds. We laughed and joked and Liam told me some stories about the boys. I was laughing so much that I almost forget we were still at school.

"Hey move!" Someone demandingly told someone who was sitting just a few tables down. Liam heard the voice too and we both looked over to see what was happening.

It was Julius, the quiet and shy boy who is nice to me. He was getting up after Griffin and Tony took over his table. Julius stood off to the side as he watched his lunch get taken by Tony.

Liam and I were watching in silence as Julius slowly walked off, his head down.

"I'll be right back" I quickly told Liam before standing from my chair and walking quickly toward him.

I watched as Sidney ran off toward this tiny boy. She caught up to him and they talked, then she turned and pointed to me. I smiled and waved back. The boy smiled lightly and said something to Sidney. Sidney grinned back excitingly grabbing him and pulling him towards the table again.

I smiled nicely as they approached, standing to my feet as Sidney introduced him.

"Liam, this is Julius, he's in my class and he's really nice" Sidney smiled at me than Julius, who looked slightly imitated by me.

"Well hi Julius" I stood his hand "would you like to join us for lunch?" I asked. He smiled nodding.

"Yes Sir, that would be nice" he answered.

We sat down and began to talk for a while. Sidney seemed to be pretty happy to have a friend like Julius and he looked pretty happy to have her. Even though he was quite small and nerdy. But they looked like they could get along and Julius needed a friend. He looks like someone who would get picked on at school by bullies.

"Louis will be by to pick you up after school" I told Sidney as their lunch was done and I had to go.

"Okay, thank you for the lunch" she smiled running up and hugging me. "See you at home Liam" she smiled.

"Love you, see you later. Bye Julius" I smiled waving at him, he returned the gesture.

"Liam told me about what you did in lunch today." Louis stated on the drive home.

My breathing hitched for a quick second, thinking about Liam telling him something, our secret. But then I processed the rest of his statement, "...in lunch today".

"It was really nice of you to do that, even though you didn't have too." I nodded looking out the window expressionless as he spoke.

"Does your friend Julius-get messed with a lot?" I nodded still dazing out the window.

"Does anyone else do anything about it?" He asked, I shook my head. "What about the teachers? Parents?" I shook my head again.

He sighed frustrated "That's just not right! This child is getting pushed around and and no one is doing anything about it. Why-" He hit his hand on the steering wheel before letting out another angry sigh and pulling over in a empty parking lot.

"No one really knows about it" I quietly said turning to see Louis. He looked at me confused.

"No one sees it?" He asked shocked, I shook my head.

"No one else...cares to notice" I spoke softly, watching him as he looked back out the window then at me.

"Does he have any friends that can help?"

"...me" he smiled at me before leaning over and kissing the top of my head.

"Good, 'cause it sounds like he needs a great friend like you." Louis pulled out of the parking lot and back on the road with a small grin across his face.

"There's a lot if cruel kids out there" he finally spoke, his smile fading as he concentrated on the road. "And if anyone EVER, has or was to physical or verbally hurt you, you would tell me right?" I hesitated at first, debating with myself if I should just tell him about the kids being mean to me at school too. But I couldn't bring my self to do it. So I simply lied.

"R-ight" My voice came out scratchy like and I quickly smiled trying to act convincing. He nodded back convinced, then focused back on the road as we turned down the street to the house.

As we pulled into the driveway a nervously jumped hearing Louis speak.

"We were thinking about walking down to the park later, if you want to come"

"Uh, sure but can I take a quick nap first? I'm kinda tired.." I had my hand on the door, ready to climb out as I waited for a reply.

"Yeah, go ahead we'll wake you before we go." I smiled with a quiet thanks and hopped out of the car. Following by Louis' side as we walked to the front door and inside.

After the greetings home from school and the "how was school?" from the boys, Liam followed me upstairs to check my backpack. It felt like he was my parol officer or something searching my bags everyday for illegal items-but in my case, he was looking for hate letters and such-not illegal items. So far he hasn't found any other letters other than the first few, because I hide them before he can see them. But he still checks and asks.

"I'm gonna take my nap now" I told Liam as I kicked off my shoes and slide into my bed.

"Kay" he smiled kissing my head and adjusting my duvet. I smiled and closed my eyes as he walked out the door and closed it behind him. Then I pulled the duvet over my head and heavily sighed, trying to just take a nice and peaceful nap.

I used to go to speech, because I stuttered and couldn't pronounce words right. YEAH and to this day I still stutter, but I don't go to speech. And it's not as bad...
