Lauran Averse P.O.V

Busy...

That is one way to describe how the little diner was today. It had people going in and out the doors. I was delivering food as fast as I could take orders. Going to table eight I saw that it was empty. Wiping it off I set it up for the next customers.

Looking at the watch on my wrist I groaned. I had been here for three hours and had five more to go.  Trudging back to the kitchen I took a sip of my Pepsi and wiped my hands on my apron. Heading back out I was called to table seven. After getting the couple a piece of our famous fudge cake.

It was then that I notice table eight was occupied. " I will be right with you " called out to them. Cashing out a customer I went to table eight. Grabbing my pad and a pencil out " HI, I'm Lauran and I will be your waiter tonight. Can we start of with some drinks?" asking them in a cheerful voice.

It was then that I noticed that guys was unbelievable handsome. There was something mysterious about them thought. Shrugging it off ,I went to get their food. " Here you go two turkey burger with fries and two waters" I said as I put them down on the table." Will there be anything else?" smiling at them.

The blonde one with green eyes spoke up " No that will be all," Nodding my head I went to clean empty tables. While I was cleaning I could not help but feel a weird feeling come over him. It felt as if something was probing me.

Freaking out I ran to the bathroom. Looking in the mirrors I saw my red hair was starting to stand up on the ends. Screaming a little I tried to calm myself. If I didn't then my eyes would start to glow. I counted to one hundred twice and looked. Sighing I was glad I was back to normal.

Heading out I went to the table once more. After writing out their check I turned to leave, but was stopped by a hand on my wrist. Turning back around  I saw that it was the black hair yellow eyes guys Gasping at the color of his eyes I could not help but stare into them. They were such an unusual color.

Snapping out of it with my cheeks burning the same color as my hair " Was there anything you needed?" I asked politely. He shook his head no. " Are you ok?" he asked him looking deep into my eyes. I nodded slowly backing away from them. They looked at each other and went back to eating. Right when they did that I flew into the Kitchen waiting until they left.

About three minutes later I jumped up in fear. A little girl was balling her eyes out. Rushing out into the dinning room I found her on the floor. It looked as if she had fell out of her chair and some how broke her arm. Rushing over to her I took it in my hands.

Leaning my head against her I soothed down her hair and whispering sweet nothings into her ear. Then I let that weird feeling in me come up. It came out of me and went into the girls arms. It was a light. Only this light had a yellow tint to it. I watched it as it drifted into her arms until it came to her elbow.

It wrapped around the most serious part. When it was down the little light traveled back down her arm and back into me. Looking down in my arms I saw that the little girl had now stopped crying and was falling asleep. Her mother then rushed up to me and thanked me for calming her down. I nodded feeling tired all of the sudden.

Standing was a chore to do as I started walking. The crowd that had gathered around split apart for me. Walking to my bosses office I told him what happen and asked to go home. I must of not looked to well for he rushed me out before I could say anything else.

That night she fell into a dead sleep, unaware of the people watching her.....
