Chapter nine.

Roses POV.

"It's a bit more life changing than a stomach bug Beau." I said looking down at my feet as I told him.

"Are you sure?" Beau said as I avoided his eye contact.

"Yeah, the doctor was positive..." I muttered as I remembered back.

FLASHBACK.

I knocked on the door.

"Come in!"

I gulped and opened the dark wooden door as it creaked loudly.

"Ah! Mrs Brooks, please come and sit." He pointed to the chair next to his desk and I sat down in it as Tom joined me in the seat next to mine. "We have your results."

"Yes..." I whispered so it was barely audible.

"Well Mrs Brooks your pregnant." My mouth just fell open. I didn't understand.

"But she took a test that came out as negative?" Tom questioned giving my hand a reassuring squeeze.

"Yes, well there's many possible reasons for an invalid result but in this case I would probably say it was down to either it just being a faulty test or in some cases if you take a test too soon the hormone build up in the urine is not big enough for the test to pick up."

"Right, so I'm not dying?" I asked, regaining use of my mouth.

"No, Mrs Brooks." The doctor laughed at me. "Just pregnant, it won't kill you."

The wave of relief was short lived when I realised I was pregnant with my second child of a man that didn't love me and regretted everything that happened between us.

END OF FLASHBACK.

I was pulled out of my flashback by Beau picking me up round the middle and spinning me around. As he put me back down I saw the grin on his face.

"We're having another child." He grinned. God I missed that grin.

"Yeah. Beau I understand if you don't want to be part of this. I get your job is important of you. I don't want us to get in the wa..." I was cut off.

"Rose! I love you and Oscar and whoever is in there!" He said pointing to my stomach. "I've followed you across the world. I was a complete dick and I should of payed more attention to you! I should of put you first, my family is the most important thing to me. Without you by my side I don't want any of it!" He pulled me in for a kiss as I willingly accepted it. As his tongue dominated my mouth and the kiss deepened tears trailed down my face. They hit his cheek and he pulled away.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm crying c-cause I'm h-happy!" I stuttered out with a slightly smile. He wiped away my tears with his thumbs and pulled my head into his chest.

"Never leave me again!" He muttered as he kissed my head.

Beau led me back into the main hall and people had already started dancing. He leant down and whispered in my ear.

"I'm just gonna go find Oscar. There's a few people that want to say hi to you." He laughed slightly and wondered off. What? I didn't understand what he talking about. Standing where Beau left me, I looked around the big room. It was then that I saw them. I didn't hesitate to run. Even in these heels and this long dress. They all started running towards me too dodging around tables and random members of my family. As we reached each other I collided into their arms. Luke, Jai, Daniel and James all wrapped their arms around me as we had a very long silent group hug.

"Oh my god have we missed you!" Luke said as we pulled away. I just smiled at him.

"Have you lost weight?" Daniel asked poking me in the ribs which made me giggle. He soon clocked on and started tickling me up my ribs.

"Daniel. Stop. It!" I said between laughs. He did and just shrugged at me.

"You look amazing Rose!" James said.

"Look at you guys! In black suits! Last time I saw you this smart was mine and Beaus wedding!" I laughed flicking James bow tie. We all laughed.

I felt the muscley arms wrap around my waist and his hot breath on my neck. I felt his body up against the bare skin on my back, left on display by the low cut back of this dress.

"Boys can I borrow my wife?" It was now that I saw Oscar run up to Jai. Jai scooped him up in his arms.

"Yeah sure we're gonna go have a quick dance with this little man." Jai laughed and they all turned around and headed towards the dance floor. I turned around, still in his arms, so we were face to face.

"I love you" I muttered.

"I love you too!" He mumbled against my neck as he planted soft kisses down my neck. "How about we get out of here?" He asked looking me in the eye.

"We can't, What about Oscar?" I asked wanting more than anything to say yes. He just grinned at me.

"One of the highlights of having younger brothers is that they do you favours. Oscars staying in my hotel with Jai and Luke to night. Come on!" He said grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the door. I waved to Tom and Mark as I was half dragged from the room at a very fast pace. They shook their heads and laughed slightly as they wandered off towards the dance floor.
