Thinking over and over again," full moon, full moon, full moon!" I started to worry but started to calm down slowly when I remembered that his family can protect me. Even though I'm outside they could hear a emergency call if something terrible happens.
Howling, I started to feel the anger of separation. Separation from my family that I love. Wanting to kill a animal was the lest of my worries but i wanted to go bigger. I want to kill human! I was running fast fast enough to find that the wind was not blowing the same way I was running. Pushing against the wind I came to a stopping point at a farm.
Peeking through the window on the side of the barn I saw a girl with overalls and the same face as the girl at school. Pushing the big red doors open I started to quietly walk in stepping on yellow hey. Looking at her I did notice that it was the girl from school. She had a piece of hey In her mouth and she was loudly snoring with her mouth wide open. Touching her hand I was seeing if she was fully asleep.
" oh piggies don't get dirty again." She started to sleep talk. " I just gave you a bath." Her voice was starting to fade.
She suddenly screamed and woke up. Breathing heavily she started to transform too when I was hiding in the hey. Her hands turning into paws, growing a tail and snout, and her hair turning into fur. The same was happening to me also. Starting to howl I showed my self. I saw what she was and she saw what I was. Circling each other we both started to sniff each other out. Suddenly she paused with a muffled expression. As so did I. Did she know it was me from school? We started running in the fields together until dawn arrived. Soon I saw my hands and knew that I was back to normal.
" are you Alice? The girl from school I talked to at lunch?" She asked pointing at me.
I started to answer," yes I am. What type of wolf are you. I'm just asking out of curiosity."
" I'm Ethiopian." She began to speak." So am I." I yelled excitedly clapping my hands. "Let's go and hang out in the moore's!" I said to her. We started chasing each other running through the leaves. Us wolfbloods run way faster than humans when you see us run its like a car at full speed. I jumped high into a tree with many thick branches.
" hey Cheyenne!" I yelled down from up in the tree.
" yes!" She replied.
" do you want to play wolf with me?" I asked looking down at her.
" sure who is the wolf?" She looked up in the tree at me.
Jumping from the branch I landed in a big pile of leaves with my hand touching the ground. I quickly touched her shoulder and ran off. Looking back with my head turned I saw her legs in motion chasing me. When I ran some more and turned my head back again Cheyenne was gone.
All of the sudden she came out of a big brown pile of leaves in her Ethiopian wolf form. I started running again waiting for her to catch me. I leaped into a tree and started to climb up its long branches. Grabbing the branches one by one I reached the peak of the tree. Looking out at the view I could see for miles. As it was beginning to turn noon I saw the sun in the middle of the sky.
Cheyenne turned into human form and started to try to climb the tall tree in which I was at the top of.
" Alice in coming for you." She struggled to get her foot on the first branch.
" do you even know how to climb a tree?" I yelled down at her as if it was a joke.
" not really but I'm trying to come up branch by branch." She yelled back at me looking up through all the thick branches. She started to get up the first branch and grabbed part of the next branch.
" the view is beautiful up here you might want to hurry the sun is fully in the sky and makes every thing light up." I spoke to her in a wowed voice.
She looked like she needed help getting up. So I climbed down to the branch that Cheyenne was at and showed her the easy way to climb a tree.
" you pull up like this." I pushed my self into the next branch with my arms straightened and my hips into the branch.
" next you pull your legs onto the branch and stand up." And I did as I said.
She started following my directions and soon enough she was at the top where I was originally. I felt and heard my stomach growl.
" you must be hungry Alice from all of that running." She looked a me while sitting on the same branch as me.
" do you want to go hunting and eat lunch?" Cheyenne asked me.
" sure I am really hungry from running and the full moon last night.
We started to climb down the tree and turn back into wolves. She motioned her head at a deer in the near distance. We started running into the tall grass right next to it. We crouched down and started to stalk it. Coming closer and closer to it we pounced at the same time onto the deer with our claws and teeth ripping into its skin.
We started to drag it to a clean and clear area. My snout sticking through its body and past the ribs. I grabbed the heart and claimed it as my food. Cheyenne grabbed the eye sockets and pulled the eyes out. Once we finished we started smiling at each other to symbolize true friendship.
