The mistake

Do you remember when I told you about the animal aid and how the took me into surgery. Well they took my blood test and they have my secret now so they know what I am and I am afraid I will have to move again along with Cheyenne and her family.
" the animal aid did a blood test if your aware so we might have scientists coming over to investigate soon." I said nervously to Cheyennes parents. I was shaking from head to toe. I felt like her parents were going to be so mad at me that they would kick me out.
Amy replied calmly," it's ok sweetie well just have to prepare for a big war against man and wolf." She started to demonstrate on a piece of paper and a pencil wedged in her hand." Soon the scientists will come over to investigate, so we need to make a false track that leads them to some where other than our house and us."
" but mom how will we do that if they are smart enough to know that it's not a real track from us but from copper making foot prints in the mud?" Cheyenne exclaimed dramatically.
" that's a good point so we will actually transform and make our foot prints lead to a dead end in the back yard and it will confuse them." Amy said back. " Alice will be the one who will do that because we don't want them to know that we are wolf too. They will look at her three legged track that will lead strait into a rushing river."
Amy kept drawing on the small paper until there was hardly any room. " as you see here you need to not make more tracks so you will change back to human and climb across all of the trees until you get to our concrete patio." She then stopped drawing and we looked at the mess she made on the paper but actually made complete sense.
I walked out the door and started following her directions.
" transform and then walk strait for the dying oak tree." I then transformed and then took three steps to the tree that seemed to be dying.
" take a right turn and keep going Strait for about ten paces." She said again. She thought she knew what she was doing but the scientists were smart enough to know that I didn't fall into the roaring waters of the river.
" turn to the side a little bit and you will soon see the river up ahead and keep running towards it until you reached it." She yelled to make sure I heard her. I then started running strait towards the river then changed to normal to climb the trees. There were many rose bushes below me as I started climbing the first tree.
" are you sure this is safe enough?" I said concerned," because this is actually higher up than you think. And I even don't have a left arm so imagine that!"
I hugged the tree as I climbed the next tree into the next. I soon was able to stand with out falling. I was on a very thick branch which supported all of my weight.
" I'm almost to you guys now. I only have three more trees to go." I said excitedly. My right hand grabbed the edge of a thin branch shock was about to crack as I went off.
" how I get back with out making foot marks? Will I just go through the dryer parts until I reached the front door or risk it and walk on top of the tracks I already made." I asked Amy and Cheyenne. I was at the bottom of the last tree with my feet stuck in a hole in which was on the tree.
" just do one of your big leaps to the patio because I've seen you do it before." Cheyenne said.
I followed her advise and leaped towards the patio and landed right on the edge.
" I did it so now we just have to wait for the scientists to come?" I was confused because I thought that they would have come by now.
" we need to lick our selves in the house and go to the den and lock the thick metal door also." Amy said. We ran inside and as soon as we knew it there was a lady outside walking up the driveway wearing a white coat.
" hurry get Chris real fast!" Amy sounded worried and rushed us along. Cheyenne got her dad off the couch and into the den. Amy grabbed the keys and any evidence that we are wolves. She locked us in the hay covered room with lots of decaying corps for us to chew on.
" I hope she goes to the back yard and sees our little plan." Cheyenne snickered to me.
" Alice I am working on your prosthetic arm to where your blood flows through it. And I am almost done." Chris said to me proudly.
" do you have your iPod Cheyenne?" I asked worried. She had pictures of us in wolf form and didn't even have a passcode.
" yes I do, we need to text Rianna and Samantha. And my boy friend Jacob because he is a chrome wolf." She said in a whisper so the scientist wouldn't hear if she was inside.
Out side the scientist went to the back of the house to see if that door was open. And sure enough the scientist found my tracks and started following them to the river which was calmer now.
" Amy are you able to use eolas to see where the scientist is?" I whispered.
" sure that would be very helpful." She replied. As she used eolas she could see the lady in the white figuring out that the tracks are fake. She got up quickly and said," code red, code red the scientist didn't fall for our brilliant plan."
Cheyenne started to cry.
