Flight

Just know don't play with my emotions
I'm to easily bruised and bumped
Easily played and forgotten
Before I hand over my heart make sure it's not a game.

All the promises you make don't break them, I'm not a one night stand I give you my vow I will stay.

Don't whisper under your breath speak your mind and the truth, I'm not going down without a fight, at times I will get hurt but I will heal.

There's nothing I can do to make you stay, when you play the heart you've contained, crying is a faint memory so is you walking out the door.

I've tried to capture you but you're untamable like a bird with wings you spring and fly away from my grip leaving me behind.
