The Beginning of Nightwing

Looking for Jason in Gotham City

Nightwing stands near Robinson Park almost close to Old Gotham Island. He looks at the hookers and drug dealers standing in the cold.

"Babs you got anything?" Asked Nightwing.

"No nothing. I've haven't been able to spot anything on any of the CCTV security cameras." Said Barbara looking at her Holographic Arm Band.

An emergency alert is rung on her Bat-Communicator. Everyone is to report to Wayne Tower.

Bruce, Dick, Babs, Zatanna, Wally, and Artemis stand in Bruce Wayne's Office on the Top of Wayne Tower.

"A days ago I ran into some Ninjas. The League of Assassins. And I couldn't figure out what their plan was till tonight. Ra's al Guhl had a plan to kidnap certain people in Gotham that were corrupt or rebellious." Said Bruce.

"You say Had a plan." Said Artemis.

"Ra's found out at the same time as I did. His plan took a twisted turn. The Joker found a way to figure out Ra's Plan. He killed all who were going to kidnap the corrupt and only took one person."

"My God no." Said Zatanna.

"Jason has been kidnapped by the Joker." Said Bruce.

"What are we going to do?" Asked Barbara.
"Get some rest today, we begin at sundown going through the city hunting Joker."

"What about contacting the League?" Asked Wally nervously waiting for a lash back.

"I contacted the rest of the JLA's Main team. Most of the more powerful members are off world fighting off Mongoul."

"So you're telling me it's just us?" Asked Dick.
"That's not going to be a problem is it?" Asked Bruce.

"No it's not." Said Dick. "I'm just shocked that people like Doctor Faith, Superman, And The Flash are just off world right now."

"They are super powered beings they have the right to do what's best for the universe..."

"But you and I both know damn well Bruce that it's a little bit of a low blow to tell them hey my sidekick has been kidnapped, want to help me find him? No okay."

"It's not that easy Dick and you know it so quit acting like..."

"Like what Bruce? Like a kid? Newsflash I'm twice the man you are. I don't distant myself from everyone around him. I'm not doing this for you Bruce. I'm doing this for Everyone else in our Batfamily."

Bruce Swings at Dick but Dick grabs Bruce's arm and shoves him into the desk. Thank god it doesn't break.

"Okay okay!" Both of you chill. Said Wally holding Dick back.

"This is what we are going to do, We are going to go home and sleep for the day. Get rested up and go on a major hunt for Jason." Said Babs. Bruce and Dick exit out of two different exits.

"Well that was intense." Said Artemis. "Wally you can stay at my place tonight/today."

"Thanks Babe."
"Grayson will probably just crash at the clock tower. No way he's going to Wayne Manor." Said Babs.

"Come on Zee let's go."

Meanwhile Harley Quinn walks into the room Jason is being held in. She has a tray of food in her hand.

"Here you go Bird Brain. See we aren't all that bad. We got you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!"

"I'm not hungry." said Robin.
"Oh Come on eat it."

"I'm going to die here aren't I?"
"Probably but hey you should eat anyway."

"You know you're pretty damn fine for a physiologist."

"Woah Boy Wonder you're what 13?"
"17." Said Jason.

"Well I'm 26 so yeah it doesn't really work out. Besides Mister J is the one I have eyes on."

"Mmhmm." Said Jason looking at Harley's tight leather costume.

"Hey Bird Brain, eyes up here!"
"Oh I know toots." Said Jason.

"Creep." Said Harley walking out of the room. Jason lays down on the ground.

"Nice Todd" He mummbled to himself. As he looked at his hand with the cell keys.

Clock Tower

Grayson sleeps in the Underground spare bedroom underneath the main building. Zatanna sleeps next to him. There was only one bed and they both said they didn't mind sharing. She just looked up at him, with Butterflies in her stomach.

"Barbara and Wally always say go for it with him." She Thought. "But I can't. He loves Babs. End Game."

Zatanna just decides to close her eyes and fall asleep. Praying Jason is alive.
