[Leo Imagine] Valentine's Day

"Gosh its really cold." I thought to myself as I stood at the entrance of Lotte World while I rubbed my arms to give myself more warmth from the chilling weather. Yet despite the weather, I was rather excited to meet up with my boyfriend, Taekwoon, whom I hadn't seen for two weeks.

The lack of frequent meetings was something that I know I had signed up the moment I started dating Taekwoon. However, despite the mental preparation I still missed him dearly and I literally jumped at any chance to hang out with him, regardless of duration. Thankfully, I did not have to suffer the wrath of Starlights as they are supportive of the two of us together.

I broke into a grin the moment I noticed a black van entered the parking area of Lotte World and a tall, well-built guy exited from the car. I immediately gave a huge wave and Taekwoon, who spotted me almost instantly, made his way over, with his hands hiding behind his back.

"Hello oppa~" I said in a delightful tone as my boyfriend gave me a slight smile as he pulled out a bouquet of roses, much to my surprise.

"For you." Taekwoon said in his usual gentle tone as I took the bouquet, still confused.

"Well it's going to be Valentine's Day soon but I am not sure about my schedule yet so I thought we should celebrate it first. I hope you don't mind." Taekwoon continued once he saw my confused expression.

"Thank you oppa, the roses are lovely. Now, let's get in shall we? It's really cold out here and Oppa you don't really like cold!" I replied and immediately linked my right arm around his as he gave me a smile.

As we entered the theme park, it was then did I notice something unusual about my boyfriend.

"Oppa, why are you not in any disguises? Aren't you worried that fans will recognize you and all?" I asked as I glanced around nervously, hoping no one had seen him yet and immediately pulled my hand away. I didn't want to be the one that caused him problems.

"It's okay. I already told N and our manager that I will be here with you today. Now, stop being the girlfriend that always placed me in the first place and let me shower you with the love that you deserved today okay?" Taekwoon answered as he reached forward and grabbed my hand and hold it tight.

"Anyway, what are we doing here today?" I continued while Taekwoon simply led me to the ice skating rink, where I spotted a number of couples skating in the rink.

"I thought we can skate together and maybe play a few of the rides here." Taekwoon answered as I felt my heart fluttered.

"Oppa, I hoped you weren't expecting me to know how to iceskate because I don't." I replied as I winced involuntarily the moment I saw a girl slipped and fall in the rink.

"I know you don't know, but it's okay, I will teach you and do whatever it takes to protect you. Trust me?" He replied as he looked at me with his innocent expression, the one that I always gave in to.

As the two of us entered the area where we put on the ice skates, Taekwoon had managed to get into his ice skates skilfully and quickly while I struggled, since it was my first time. All of a sudden, however, Taekwoon kneeled before me and tried to adjust the skates for me as I looked down at him, face turning bright red from his actions. He then led me into the skating arena slowly, his right hand around my waist tightly as though he was worried that I will slipped and fall.

Taekwoon then taught me the correct posture and how to skate as I tried to mimic his movements as much as I can. My heart was beating out of control from all the skin ships that we were doing. Despite the fact that there were some of the skaters had managed to recognize Taekwoon, his eyes were still fixed on me, as though I was the only thing that mattered.

"Thanks for sending me home Oppa. I really had a great time today." I said as we reached the front of my house. As much as I would like to invite Taekwoon in, it was getting late and I would prefer him getting as much rest as possible. However, instead of bidding me goodbye as I planned, he stood there fidgeting, as though he wanted to say something yet lacked the courage to.

"Is something the matter?" I asked while I saw Taekwoon took a deep breath as he pulled out a tiny box from his front pocket. As I stared at the box, he opened it to reveal to a pair of couple rings. I gasped in surprise and took a look at him, to see him pursing his lips as he watched my expression.

"Well, we been together for a few months now and I thought I should give you something to remember me by every time I am not with you. Sorry for not being the perfect boyfriend that you wanted even though I am trying my best. I love you and I hope you like this ring." He said in a quick breath as I saw his face turning slightly red from the sudden confession.

"Oppa don't apologize because you are the most perfect boyfriend to me!" I replied as I pulled him into a tight embrace, which he returned by placing his arms around my waist.

"And... I love you too." I whispered into his ear as I gave him a light peck on the lips, ending our early Valentine's Day celebration.
