“Hey girl, you look good!” Luis said to me as I walked out of my house and over to where he was leaning against his car. I looked him over as well. His dirty blonde hair falling in front of his brown eyes, he wore a plain black t shirt that fit snuggly over his muscular chest. A pair of old blue jeans hung loosely around his hips. I never really thought of Luis as more than a friend but for some reason tonight I had begun to think differently.

“Not so bad yourself.”  I smiled and winked at him. He opened the car door for me like a proper gentleman and I got in. He gently closed the door behind me and jogged around to the driver’s side.  Some god awful music was blasting over the radio which I quickly turned off. I loved music but now just wasn’t the time.

“So we are going to see the new horror film.” I said looking at Luis. “Are you going to hold me when I get scared?”  He scratched the back of his neck before answering,

“Of course I will.” He smiled. There was something more behind that smile and I had an idea about the thoughts that were running through his head. Like any of that would ever happen. Now he was just my play toy, just like every other guy is going to be.

We pulled up to the movie theater before I knew it. Luis ran back around the car to open the door for me. A girl could really get used to this. We walked hand in hand to the front of the theater where we were meeting everyone. When we finally made it there everyone was waiting for us. Jessica came squealing up to me.

“James is here!!” She chirped quietly in my ear. She quickly looked me over. “I am so glad I convinced you to get that top! Girl you are smoking hot!” she said that so loud everyone could hear. She shot me a knowing glance when everyone looked over at us then gave me a wink before dragging me up to everyone else.

James was here with Steven. Alexandria was nowhere to be found. But then I remembered we all texted people to come and I still had Alexandria’s phone. I had to remember when I got home to delete the messages asking her if she was coming.

“Hey Steven and James, looking good.”  Jessica purred and Steven nodded in acknowledgement. His eyes met mine and I could tell that he wanted to talk to me about something but now was not the time, and here was not the place.

“Hey Luis, baby. Let’s go in. We have to get a good seat in the back.” I purred, grabbing his hand and pulling him with me. He had a goofy smile plastered on his face as we walked away, but not before Steven glared at me. I sent him a small wink and then lead the way into the theater.

We decided that the guys would go get the drinks and candy while some other girls, Jessica and me went to get seats. We chose the far back row, perfect for making out. Not that I really planned on it but hey, if I got the chance and Steven was watching, Why the hell not?  A short time later the guys came waltzing in carrying the things.  Luis came up next to me and just stopped. I looked at him curiously for a second.

“What? Do I have something on my face?” I asked jokingly.

“No, it’s just. You look so damn amazing in these dim lights.” He cracked a smile and I couldn’t help but chuckle. Using him like this wasn’t really nice of me, but I promised myself I wouldn’t hurt him too bad though.

“I got you these.” He said handing me my favorite sour candies.

“Oh My Gosh, how did you know I loved these!?!?” I screeched with excitement. How sweet of him.
