Chapter Five: A New Friendship

           I woke up to a wet nuzzle. I opened my eyes and I saw Saturn. His fur was all fuzzed up because of his sleep. I bet he had a long, deep, sleep. I struggled to get up. He pushed me forward playfully when I finally got up. Saturn said "Hey Troy I want to show you something". "Okay" I said. So we went out of our temporary shelter and walked into the misty woods. It rained last night so the forest looked like a rainforest. I felt the wet, muddy, grass squish onto my feet. "Squish, splash, squish, splash. I found that amusing so I ran in circles around, and around, and around. "What are you doing!" exclaimed Saturn. "I want to try!" So Saturn joined in and we were both running to the place that Saturn wanted to go to. He lead and I followed. We ran through the woods and passed several types of animals. We ran into a pack of wolves, which Saturn persuaded them to not attack me; a bunch of Recess Monkeys; that threw a handful of fruits at us which we used for food; and a big load of Tree Frogs. Saturn carried all the fruits on his back while I ran on my hind legs. Since I was running faster than him he just told me the directions. 

           When we got there I was stunned. We were inside a cave full with glistening stalagtites and stalagmites. There were a different variety of colors. Red, blue, green, purple, gray, and pink. I walked slowly through the cave and admired the beauty of the crystals. Saturn smiled at my approval. "Dont you want to see more?" asked Saturn. I was shocked. There was more? "Yes!" I smiled. What would be better than what I have seen already? Maybe it will be something totally different. I could'nt wait to see. I happily followed Saturn to the surprise. 

              I stepped into a different room of the cave. It was all crystals which were different shades of blue. There was a mountain of white foam in the middle. I was amazed. I was not expecting something like this. " I wanted to show you this because we can have alot of fun here" said Saturn. I was so excited. I licked Saturn all over and ran into the pile. Saturn chuckled, dropped the fruit and ran after me. The mountain was so big that finding Saturn was like finding a needle in a haystack. After a while we found eachother and he tackled me. I have never played like this with my brothers or sister. The foam felt soft and popped agianst my fur. It was the best time of my life! 

             After an hour and a half, we stopped playing and sat in the bubbles. We were litterally engulfed by the foam. I kept sinking into the white fluff. We kept quiet for a while and absorbed the silence and colors from our surroundings. I looked at the different shapes in the walls. I saw whales, fish, and water. It reminded me of my alligator fight. I whined. I snuggled into Saturn's belly. We ate some of the fruits and took a nap. Tommorrow is a big day.
