Well to start with my name is Troy. I am a Rotweiller. I have chocolate brown eyes, Jet black and Coffee brown fur, and really big paws. I am three weeks old and live with my mother. My mom does not have a name, but she likes to call herself Big Mama. I have three siblings. Marty, May, and Moose. Marty has a small head compared to his body. He has a lot of fur on his backside. Moose is the heaviest and strongest. He likes to strut around like he is the "king of the world". May is my favorite sibling. She is a exact duplicate of Big Mama. They both have long brown tails which have a black spot at the end, they have short ears but they flop down, and they have big eyes. I want to look like mama! I am the youngest of the group. We are all street dogs.

One day, I asked Big Mama why my name was different from the others. She took a while to answer. Did she name me without thinking? She had a awkward look on her face. her mouth kept moving around and around. Finally she answered, "Sorry I had something in my mouth". I was worrying for nothing! "Troy, honey, I named you this because at the time your dad died in a car crash" she said."He was in the middle of both cars and it was humid and foggy so nobody could see anything". "When you were born you looked exactly like your dad; majestic, strong, and courageous". "So I named you after him, Troy". My name actually meant something! Something even better that my siblings names!

From then onwards, I would boast about my name to my brothers. "Na na na na na, my name is better that yours!". Then they would walk away saying that I was'nt part of the family because my name did'nt start with a "m". I was not sure of was I was hearing, until one day. That day I was bouncing along the street when I turned and saw Marty, Mary, and Moose talking together. I jerked and backed up and hid behind a trashcan. I coud feel the beads of sweat dripping down my face. I perked up my ears and listened to what they were saying.

"Troy does not belong in the family" said Moose. "Yeah, his name doesnt even start with a "m" said Marty. "That little brat is so stuck up!" said May. "He keeps boasting about his name". I froze. I could not believe May was like the rest. As you could blink I ran as fast as I could trying to find Big Mama. I felt my tears rolling down my cheeks and my eyes starting to burn. It took me half an hour to get to mama. I told her what all they said about me. But out of the blue when I thought mama was going to hug me and console me, she just said, "You should'nt have boasted anyways". I was heart broken. I sulked away into the darkness. I kept crying and felt my face get hot. Im only three weeks old! Dont they have sympathy? "I've got to pull myself together". "I've got to get even". "I've got to take action".
