Chapter 2

Bens POV
Somethings happened to Percy. I'm really worried about him. We were really good friends before he left, no one had any idea were he was, no one was able to contact him. We were all scarred for him.

   But yesterday, he came back. And he didn't lie, he's not the same. But I think we can get him back to normal. But what we're all wondering is, what happened to him?

    Shelton, Natalie and I were currently on are way to lunch, we were planning on siting with Percy and get him to talk.

    When we got there we found Percy sitting by himself. We got are from food and sat down at his table. I noticed he didn't have any food.

"Hay, Percy, do you want some of my food?" I asked him.

"No." He replied.

"Do you what any-" Natalie started.

"No. I don't want any of you guys's food!" He said getting a little angry.

"Touchy." When Shelton mumbled this Percy looked up from the table and glared at Shelton. His glare must have been scary because Shelton flinched and looked scared.

"Are you joining the swim team this year?" I asked. Percy was the captain of the swim team when he was hear and could probably go to the Olympics if he wanted to.

"No." He said dead serious.

"Why?" I asked. I'm confused, Percy loved swimming!

"I. Said. No." He said through gritted teeth.

"Jeez. What happened to you?" I asked. He was starting to get annoying.

"Reality happened." Why won't he just answer the questions clearly?

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"My life sucks." I shut up after that. It was clear I wouldn't get answers.

   Just then, the school slut, Clara came up to us.

"Hey Perc, you, me, my place. 7 o'clock." She said in a sexy voice.

"Get away you slut." Percy replied. "And. Don't. Call. Me. Perce!" He finished yelling.

"Is this because of that girlfriend of yours?" She asked. This made Percy even more mad and it looked like he was starting to tear up.

"DONT YOU DARE TALK ABOUT HER LIKE THAT! SHE WAS THE BEST PERSON IN THE WORLD!" He yelled while glaring at her. She took a few steps back and then ran away. Percy then stormed out of the lunch hall. What did he mean by was? Did they break up?

  The next class was English with Mr.Blofs. We walked in and he said to line up against the wall because we would have a new seating chart.

   Percy then walked in.

"You may sit anywhere Percy." He said sadly. Percy went and sat in the far corner.

"That's not fair!" Someone yelled.

"Shut up." The teacher said.

"Your just being nice because he's your son!" The person yelled again.

"If anyone went through what Percy went through then they would have the same privileges." He said in disgust with the student.

He went on and told us we're to sit, no one got to sit next to Percy. He was just sorounded by empty seats. I think I'm going to talk to Me. Blofs about him.

At the end of class I stayed back and waited for everyone to leave.

When everyone was gone I when up to Mr. Blofs and said, "Um, Sir, do you know what's happened to Percy? I'm worried about him."

He sighed and said, "I'm afraid it's not my spot to tell, all I can say is, he has lost to much. More then anyone should have to. I'm afraid you wouldn't even wish your worst enemies to go through what Percy has gone through." I stood in shock. What could be so bad?

"Now, you might want to go to your next class."
