Percy POV-
I'm sure if you were in my situation, you would do the same thing.

Scream. And bang my hands on the wall.

Maybe, if they heard me, they would come and tell me what the hades was going on. But in reality, I was still messed up from my flashback.

And, I soon realized that was doing nothing, and laid back down. I sighed, and stared at the ceiling, only to find myself thinking of Zoë.

What would she do in the situation?

She was brave, and smart.

Kinda like Annabeth.

Gods Percy, don't say her name.

Instead of thinking, I decided to sit back and count sheep.

I lost count a couple times, (I was trying to count how many sheep could be stacked in the room) and had to start over, but other then that it actually helped.

But right when a was almost done, the door opened and I lost count.

So, I glared at the person who walked in, mad about having to start over now.

Wow, I thought, I must sound like a crazy person.

"Care to tell me were the Hades I am?" I asked patiently.

"You are in the New York mental hospital."

Wow, they really think I'm crazy t–DID HE SAY IM IN A MENTAL HOSPITAL!?

"What!?" I shouted, "I'm not crazy!"

I'm a lot of things, but I'm not crazy.

"You have experienced extreme trauma, and don't know how to deal with it." He reapplied, "And I'm here to help you."

He took a chair from out in the hall and sat down 4 feet away from my bed, were I was once again laying down facing the ceiling.

"No," I said. "Your here to get information for the police. I'll tell you now; I'm not evil and I'm not telling you anything."

"I can help you Percy." He repeated.

"No you can't." I scoffed. "I'm a case you've never seen before. I've been through more then this entire mental facility! And yet you people don't appreciate anything."

"And what do we have to appreciate?"

I don't know if it was reverse phycology or something, but I seriously wanted to yell at him. So I took a different approach.

"You all get to have a good life." I said with venom. "You get educated to be something in life, we get educated in the art of self defense. You don't have monsters out to eat you. You don't have to worry that you'll be killed without even getting to say goodbye. You didn't have to fight wars. You never had to be a pawn on the gods chess bored. You've never had the world resting on your shoulders. You get to live to old age, we don't. You don't understand anything."

While I was talking, he said nothing until I was finished.

"I may not understand now, but that doesn't mean I can't understand and help. All you have to do is talk to me."

"You can never understand, and you never will." I said.

"That doesn't mean I can't help." He said.

"Unless you can turn back time, there's nothing you can do."

He sighed, but got up to leave.

Before he made it completely out the door, he turned back and said, "Your wrong Percy."
