Chapter 14

Clarisse POV-
We charged at each other.

I'm done with all this.

The entire camp worships Percy.

They don't see what I see.

Percy is a jerk.

He walked out on us.

He's a coward.

He thinks he deserves special treatment, just because he's lost some people.

We've lost people to.

Yet we get nothing.

Percy left are world.

And now camp wants him back.

But I don't.

He can go to the underworld for all I care.

I tried to act like I cared, but I cant do it anymore.

I tried to find a reason to care.

But I can't find one,

"You left camp alone!" I said, while we were fighting.

"They have plenty of heroes. They don't need me." Percy said.

"You act like yr the only one who lost someone! News flash! We all lost someone!" I yelled.

"Pity, you lost someone. At least you have people." Percy said, growling.

"Stop acting like that." I said.

"Like what? Dead? Broken? I'm sorry, but I'm only acting like myself." Percy said.

"Stop thinking about yourself. Get over it!" I said. This made Percy really mad, because he disarmed me and put riptide to my throat.

"I haven't thought of myself for a long time now. All I can think about, is the people that died. They fill my thoughts, they haunt my dreams. Everyday I go to sleep a relive that battle. Ever day. It's gotten so bad, I'm afraid to go to sleep. Im afraid to close my eyes for more then a second! I'm sorry if you don't like me, because honestly, I don't care." Percy said, with fear in his voice, and tears threatening to fall.

"Camp wouldn't want me back. It would ruin them. I'll go crazy if I have to go back. I can't deal with it anymore. The flashbacks are bad enough, I can't deal with going to the place that is all happened." Percy said, tears finally falling.

Percy dropped the sword from my thought.

"Don't come back for me. Please." Percy said with a shaky voice.

I was starting to feel scared for Percy's life
