The Heart's Writing

Me in Myself

I'm sitting here waiting,
While everyone's laughing.
I shut my eyes, shut my mouth,
and sometimes shut my heart.

I look about looking,
I think about thinking.
But, still getting no answer.
It's all over the place.

I'm here, standing still, waiting,
With the same name,
Same feeling and same colour.
Try to see right through it,
Because that star will be mine.
