I had been home for about two months, and nothing weird had yet happened. That might sound great to you, but to not have anything weird happen to me every few minutes was.... well, WEIRD. At this point I was actually starting to question whether or not I had actually gone to Alagaesia or not.....

I'm sorry. If you came in just now, you're probably really confused. So I'll start from the beginning: Hi. I'm Sadie. Sadie Cliff. About a year ago, this "supreme being" who goes by the name of Fate sent me into one of my favorite, childhood books (Inheritance from The Inheritance Cycle. The first book of that series is Eragon, but if you haven't heard of it, that's okay). My job was to defeat this jerk-face who was trying to ruin it!! I succeeded. I was then sent home, and, well, the rest is history.

Back to what I was saying, though. I hadn't had any contact with my Alagaesian friends for so long, and I hadn't had anything happen to me for so long, that I was actually starting to question whether or not this actually happened. I don't know if this is has ever happened to you, but if it has, you know how confusing this can be.

So, it's the middle of July and I'm walking around in circles in my room because I'm bored. (Note for the future: never become bored like that; if you do, something will happen to you so that you are no longer bored, and you might not be happy with what it is). Everything was in order, I had no homework and nothing to do, and I was.... well, I don't remember why I was pacing, I just remember that I was. Suddenly, from my closet, I heard BANG-BOOM-CLANG!!!!

I whirled around and ran to my closet. This was odd. Nothing my closet was even heavy enough to make that large of noise in the first place, unless the entire top shelf decided come unnailed and topple. I opened my closet to find only one object out of the ordinary on the floor: my backpack. After every school year, I always put it way up on the top shelf so that I didn't have to see it at all until the first day of school the next year. But I always put it up there AFTER it's been emptied of every little particle dirt!!! There was nothing in there!!! How had it possibly caused such a large sound!?!

I picked it up to put it back on the top shelf from which it had fallen, but when I tried, it was like picking up a 100 pound weight!! What the heck is in this!!!??!!! I wondered. I opened it, to satisfy my curiosity, and this little white, glowing dot floated out from the top.

I froze. No. No-no. Nonononononononononononononononononononono. NO!!!! Not this again!!!!

The dot floated in mid-air and continued to increase in size until it was large enough to fit me in it. I stared in horror at it as some outside force prevented me from so much as blinking, let alone screaming. The dot dragged me inside it, with my backpack included, like a it was a vacuum and I was an insignificant piece of dirt.

My room disappeared from view as the circled closed itself around me. I began falling down, down, down. There was no color because EVERYTHING was white. I was falling through a white nothingness that really should never have existed in the first place, but it did, obviously. I faced the direction I thought was down. Time, direction, and anything else that would tell you where you are and where you're going was completely erased from the universe.

The only thing I saw the entire fall was me. Warning: this is going to sound really weird. I saw myself coming up towards me slightly to my left as I was going down. There wasn't a mirror there or anything, rather me. My clone. Because last time this happened, Fate decided to make a clone of me. She waved at me with a smile as we passed. I gave a small wave back, though it was more of a hesitant "Um..... what the heck" wave than a anything else.

She finally passed me, and then there was nothing again. I actually got bored after a while. I opened my backpack (that had been falling with me the entire time and wasn't mentioned because it wasn't relevant until now) and pulled out a watch to see how long I'd been falling (the flash happened around 2 o'clock-ish). This did absolutely nothing for me because the watch hands were spinning around the clock-face really fast. Like a weird game of tag between the hour hand and the minute hand.
