"It's still not working......" I complained. We were in the hospital a few hours later (you know, after the last chapter). Ani and Soka had taken me to the nearest infirmary after we had left the Senate Building and the Chancellor to his new "remodeled" office. The huge cut on my arm was still bleeding. The doctors were trying to stop it, but they were failing epically. See, here's the problem: the rules clearly state that they can't hurt me unless I hurt them first. I hadn't hurt anyone, so they couldn't hurt me, right? This includes getting medical care or needles. So, to sum it all up, doctors were trying to fix my arm with stitches, they were failing because they couldn't touch me, and I was losing a lot of blood fast, which was a problem. Sure, I could try and stitch up my own arm, but was that going to happen? Yeah, no. You try it and then get back to me if you think I'm a coward.
So, there we were in the star wars version of the E.R. with me bleeding out when I got that feeling. That guy feeling I get every time before I get flashed somewhere random. I groaned as the rest of my body went numb except for the gut feeling and my vision began to flicker. I was going to pass out, and I knew it.
"Ah great..." I muttered as I fell head first to the floor....or, at least, where the floor would have been if Fate hadn't decided to flash me somewhere at that exact moment. Everything was white, and I passed out from loss of blood.

I woke up in Fate's..... throne room? I was on my side laying on the ground. When I looked up, Fate was standing above me looking very superior."Welcome back, Sadie," she said in the most neutral voice I've ever heard in my life.
I sat at up suddenly, "Welcome back? Welcome BACK!? That's all you have to say!?!?!?!?!?"
"Well, what else is there to say?"
"How about: Oh, sorry for getting you mixed up in all this, or how are you doing, or maybe, just maybe, you could have ASKED me to go on this 'mission' for you!!!!!!"
She looked at me quizitivally, "Asked you? I do not have to ask you anything. You are my ambassador; you work for me. I therefore do not have any obligation to ask your permission on whether or not you get sent on missions. You go, you stop Darkness, you lock up on your way out. End of mission."
So, that kind of ticked me off a little bit, if you know what I mean? "Don't need to ask my permission!!!?!!! I beg your pardon!!!! Whose life is at stake here!? Who was thrown into this without any warning!? Who is missing her own life and getting it lived for her by and exact carbon copy!? You have no right to just throw me into this!!!"
"No right? I have every right. I am the protector of balance and harmony through all of time and existence. I can choose whomever I please to be my ambassador. Besides, I thought you'd be happy to have this mission. I know of millions of...what do you call them... 'die hard fans' that would do anything to go into the 'Star Wars universe'."
"Yeah? Well, guess what? I don't appreciate getting thrown into a universe where I almost die every three hours!!!!! As it is I'm already bleeding to death because of an arm wound that we can't stitch!!!!!"
"Oh. It's that what you're upset about? Well don't worry about that. You've been sent to people who can help you with that."
"No!! That is NOT what I'm upset about!!!! I'm upset about you taking me from my home and dropping me in the middle of a different dimension to fight to the death with a creepy lunatic and a Sith Lord!!!! I'm upset about you doing this to me AGAIN without even consulting with me on the matter!!! I'm UPSET about having to do this kind of work against my will, because I DID NOT choose this!!!!"
