words will wrap
around your throat
to take away
your last breath
with it's very own
dying existence

never shall a tear
make an ocean
never shall a promise
break like a wave
never shall your heart
have to worry like
sand on a stormy day
~
gave up on sunshine
for today is a waste
the sky seemed so
lifeless and clouds
fled in a haste
~
give this a little time to unwind and fade away, there's no use in worrying about what happened yesterday.
~
what do i have to do to make you want me like i want you? if i'm wasting my time then please let me know, so that i can move on from this thing unknown.
~
you're like a puzzle
scattered all over the place
just waiting for someone
to put all of your pieces back together
hoping that maybe just maybe
they'll actually get it right this time
