Adam's POV

We arrived in Minneapolis at around 9:00am, traffic was worse than expected. We unpacked our things from the car and started to settle in.

I climbed onto the tour bus and found my way to my room. I was struggling with my suitcase down the narrow corridor of the bus.

'Hey Adam, you need any help?'

Harlow was leaned up against a wall, smiling.

'Uh, no, I got it, thanks' My reply was barely audible.

She followed me to my room.

'Looks like my rooms right next door to yours. Heads up. I snore'

She laughed, a sweet little breathy laugh, that was matched perfectly with those dimples.

I ended up laughing too, there was a underlying look of astonishment on her face, she was probably just surprised I could laugh at all.

'Well, I'm gonna go attempt to unpack, I'll see you later Adam'

I nodded and watched her prance off to her room.

Good start Adam, bravo. You managed to say 5 more words excluding 'Uh'.

I sighed and moseyed through the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An hour later, after everybody had settled in, and we were well away, I was typing away at my computer when there was a light knocking at my door.
I swung it open to be met with Breanne.
'Hey psst can I come in?'
'Um, yes...' I shot her a confused glance
She shuffled excitedly into my room and sat down on the bed.
'So, you'll never believe this, but Harlow and I are sharing a room. She's super nice and very open so I asked her about you.'
My expression resembled that of someone who had just been slapped.
'B-Breanne why! You promised you wouldn't say anything!'
'Woah calm down, I didn't make it obvious! The question was just slipped into general chit chat!'
I put my head in my hands.
'So I asked her what she thought and she said, and I quote 'He's very handsome, he just doesn't talk to me' and I was all like  'Adam just gets really shy around new people, he'll open up, you just need to make the effort with him, he's a really sweet guy once those awkward first couple of encounters are out of the way'
I just sighed and started to laugh.
'Bre-aaane' I whined, playfully pushing her, I couldn't be mad, when I was so gleeful. She thought I was handsome. That is a really good start.
She giggled.
'You know you love me, I'm at ninja level with this sort of stuff'
I rolled my eyes at her.
'Stop it with the meddling now, I mean it' I raised my eyebrows
'Alright, alright' she smirked 'We're nearly in Iowa and we're going out for dinner together'
I nodded.
'Thanks for the heads up'
She smiled, ruffled my hair, and left the room. I sat back down at my laptop, grinning involuntarily.
Handsome eh?
I laughed inwardly at my own giddiness. I really was a dork when it came to girls.
