I woke up to a feeling that someone was watching me as I slowly opened my eyes drowsily and blinked twice to only find Aiden staring at me with his soft, brown eyes. I shot him a lazy smile before closing my eyes again, sensing sleep crawling back into my skin once more.
I felt his hand gently pat my head before leaving the bed as I opened one of my eyes and watched him glide to the other side of the room swiftly, to his en suite.
"Come on," I whined, reaching my arm out as if hoping to feel his arm but my arm was left hanging in the air.
"Davina, you need to meet the Pack Members," he said, shaking his head in amusement, a toothbrush hanging in his mouth. "You haven't done that ever since you've arrived."
My eyes immediately widened as I scrambled off the bed and marched towards the en suite. If it was any more possible, my eyes widened at the sight of the bathroom interiors. The walls were astonishingly gorgeous with grey and white, the almost almost dark grey tiles were shinning in delight as if showing off its beauty with a huge mirror placed against the wall on the left and two medium-sized sinks in front of it.
Two long cabinets were positioned on each side of the mirror with red roses. A white, large bath tub was positioned just in the corner diagonally, a glass shower in the other corner. My eyes danced around the en suite for the toilet, quickly noticing that it was right next to the shower.
"Are you going to brush your teeth or not?" Aiden questioned, bringing me out of my daze as he stared at his own reflection, ruffling his soft-looking, brunette hair as if trying to put it in in place.
I flushed in embarrassment and rolled my eyes before picking up my own toothbrush.
After I was done with my morning routine, I slipped towards the walk-in closet where I found Aiden slipping into a pair of black jeans before throwing a black top over his built body. I gulped inaudibly before making my way towards my side of the closet and picked out a white singlet and a pair of black, Nike shorts. I slipped into a pair of neon, yellow runners and threw my hair into a ponytail.
I descended the staircase to already see Aiden with Ace, talking about something before they both nodded in Julia and I's direction, heading out the door. Julia turned around to face me, plastering on a wide smile as I observed her sky, blue dress."Ready to start the day?" Julia nodded, handing me a chocolate bar before looping her arm in mine.
I nodded in confirmation, smiling."I hope they don't freak you out too much."
We slipped through the door, the fresh forest scent caging me as we made our way across the enormous Pack Grounds just to get to the Pack House. I couldn't help but compare this land to my home; obviously this land was way bigger than mine.
The Pack House was large, larger than the one I had grew up in. It was only two storeys high as the whole, entire front view was made out of black, tinted glass with the sides made out of black brick.
As we made our way inside, the loud teenagers were focused on a video game that was broadcasting on a wide, plasma tv screen as children were running around viciously as if a monster was chasing after them.
I looked towards my left and caught a glimpse of women and elderly people talk to each other quietly as if it was something important. I felt a pair of eyes burn a hole as I frowned and turned around, scanning the area until I felt them land on a man.He was built, as if he was a Pack Warrior but not as built as Aiden. His hair was blonde and his eyes were blue as if it was a reflection of the ocean.
