Part 5 - All Actions have Consequences

Beep......Beep......Beep......Beep......

What's that noise? Suddenly I remember it all. The arguing, the flashbacks, the running, the thump, the pain, the blackness.

Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.

The noise is getting faster. I panic. Is it a bomb? I can't think of anything else that it could be. Yes. That's it. Teo is trying to kill me.

Beepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeep.

It's about to go off! I snap my eyes open. An almost blinding whiteness hits me. I look around, but I can't make anything out. Then a male figure appears. Teo.

He is holding a syringe. Oh god, no, don't let it be. He's going to put me to sleep so I cannot defend myself, so I cannot escape. I wriggle away form the needle which is edging ever nearer to my arm. The man grabs my arm fairly rougly and sticks it in. He pushes down on the plunger and I fall backwards into blackness.

"Oh my god. Is she ok?" I recognise the voice. Moises. Where am I? How come I'm not dead?

"Yes, she was just up and her heart beat was going extremely quickly, so I was forced to sedate her." Another male voice replies.

I try to open my eyes but the whiteness of the room forces me to close them again. My throat is burning so I reach for a drink, but I just knock it off of the table next to me. I can't see the glass as my eyes are firmly shut but I hear it shatter on the floor. Moises and the other man move around, I can hear them picking up the glass and someone takes my hand. I open my eyes slowly. It's Moises.

"Hey, baby, you ok?" He looks into my eyes and I see genuine worry in his. My heart melts and I nod and force a small smile, but it takes a lot of effort.

"I'm going to take you home soon, once the doctors let me. It's all going to be fine, ok?" Once again I nod at his encouraging words. He walks out with who I presume is the doctor and I see them through a small window talking, and Moises signing some papers. I look down to see bandages all up my legs, and a sling on my arm. I try to move my leg but cry out in pain. A nurse hurries over.

"Are you ok?" She asks.

"Water" I just about managed to say, and thankfully she understood what I wanted. She helped me to drink some water which eased the burning in my throat. Moises and the doctor walk back in, and Moises has a jacket for me.

"Come on, let's get you home." He says and smiles at me. The nurse helps me up and Moises wraps me up in the jacket, then they help me into a wheelchair and Moises starts wheeling me down the corridor, after saying thank you and goodbye to the doctor and nurse.

"Wake up sleepyhead, I have your dinner." I open my eyes and the smell of a roast dinenr hits me. As I sit up my stomach rumbles and Moises laughs. "Someone's hungry!"

The food is so good, I finish it quickly. Afterwards he leaves me to rest. I watch Spongebob Squarepants and go on FaceBook. Most of my messages are hate from Teo's fans, which makes me sad. But I get a few encouraging ones with people's stories of being in situations like me and how they overcame it.
